Kitchen Remodel
First of all, I want to say I love our new kitchen and our new floors on the main level and would hire Rich Improvements again. If I could give 10 stars I would. Rich remodeled our kitchen, a gut job as they say. We had a budget with a little wiggle room and Rich did everything to keep us in that budget. We had a layout that we wanted, leave sink where it is, take a wall down, shift appliances about 2 feet from original spot. We wanted a bigger family friendly kitchen and Rich worked with us without trying to change our minds. We had several quotes for the remodel and we kept coming back to Rich, we just felt so comfortable with him and confident in his ability by just talking with him. Rich also was very patient with me as I made some changes, asked a lot of questions, made some requests and wasn’t sure on some things and he offered some absolute awesome ideas. Rich finished two weeks early. The house was built in 1921 and we suspected we’d find some plumbing and electrical issues. Those were dealt with quickly and in a cost effective manner. I love my new kitchen!!

Working with Rich and his team was a great experience! He remodeled my outdated non-functional kitchen and master bathroom - which was a unique situation in which I wanted to add a full shower into a very small half bathroom with no space to expand the footprint of the bathroom. He was the only contractor I talked to who was willing to take on the creative challenge without expanding the walls. Both rooms look amazing, and Rich was completely respecting of my budget and found affordable ways to get me what I wanted. All of the people (plumbers, electricians, drywallers, tilers, painters, etc.) who worked in the house were really great, trustworthy, easy to communicate with, and did phenomenal work. Questions and concerns were always addressed promptly, and Rich was great about communicating timelines and progress.
The quality of work was really outstanding above all else, and I would hire Rich again for any future projects.

I previously worked twice with Rich Improvements before 2026 -
Roofing, Siding, Windows, Bathroom, Garage Add-on and Concrete, and Large Garden Shed.
Both experiences were large projects that were done on time and on budget with excellent quality.
Recently an Amazon delivery van drove into our home and amongst other things damaged a section of rain gutter and trim work.
Even though this was a very small job, Rich provided a quote and arranged for the replacement of the section.
The repair was timely, done quickly, installed flawlessly, and matched the existing gutters size and color perfectly.

Kitchen Remodel
Rich did a remodel of our kitchen. The house was built in 1921 and we expected that there could be some plumbing and electrical issues behind the walls. Even addressing those issues, the work was completed two weeks early and the budget was not impacted much! Thanks to Rich we have a great beautiful new kitchen.

Kitchen Remodel
Rich was amazing throughout our entire kitchen remodel and water damage repair. His work ethic, organization, and knowledge is stellar. He was incredibly patient with all of our questions and took so much time making sure we were comfortable with our material choices and the overall process. When our dining room floor was ready to be installed, we found extensive water damage from poor builder workmanship 27 years ago. Rich diagnosed the problem, did the research and found the contractors to help, and completed the huge project in a reasonable amount of time. It really was incredible. Throughout the whole process, Rich kept us up-to-date and explained each step needed. He demonstrated integrity with his business practices, and we trusted his judgement wholeheartedly. I would highly recommend Rich Improvements to anyone who is undertaking a remodel or needs work done on their house; he truly is the best out there.

An Aluminum Siding repair. Was having difficulty finding someone to do this, as most contractors do not do aluminum siding, or want to remodel instead of just repair. Rich gave me a couple of options, did not try to sell me on any additional work, and completed the work earlier than promised. The repair is fine.
