Aug 1 2016 through Home Advisor made am appoinment with Mr.Richard,E. to give esmate for house @ Lexington.to tear down existing 2nd floor landing deck and rebuild to code.esmate was $1600.Aug 24 he call me ask me ready to do the job, i said i am ready see you 3pm at house we sign the contract.When 3pm i go there i saw the deck was tear down.anyway i sign the contract(the hand wrighting contract only has his name and phone # dont have any business address, till today i never got the copy of the contract i singed). after we signed the contract he ask me $500(that money not in wrighting at contract nor in esmate never told me i needs pay $500 first, i feel if i given him $500 he will never show up again,also he never give me a his business card).i told him i will pay you when the job is down.Next day he call me ask me money again i text hem "i dont know you email me your ins certificae and fayette county registration # i can have your basic info there". i got his ins certificate(no fayette county registrstion) has his address. i text back "i can give you $500 but you have too give in wrignting ,recived $500 first rest money($1100)will pay at when job is done.He refused give such recive and sand me $1137.50 bill,for tear down the existing deck(now my 2nd floor can not exit to outside).now is ending the year2016. he never had any intentions to finash the job , he just want the money. and text me if i don't pay hem $1137.50 will take me to court ,there is his text " At this point i will be filling suit for will be well above the bill."

I am so pleased with the work Mr. Edgington did for us. My husband has some disabilities and I needed several projects done such as railings & steps, wider and lower steps on outdoor porch & patio as well as entrance into our garage. Also needed railing around my front porch as he had fallen off once and wanted it to be safe for him. Also installed hand grips in our bathroom. I am very pleased with all the work he performed, he was polite, very dependable and cleaned up after his work each day. I recommend him and I think you would be very pleased as we are with his work.

Rec'd a fair and reasonable estimate. Final cost came in less than was estimated. All work was completed on time and was of outstanding quality. Repairs actually went beyond original estimate. Considering type of work (Drywall repair and Painting), home was in a very clean condition when work was completed. Very professional attitude. Was easy to work with. Would not hesitate in rehiring for other projects and recommending this contractor to others.

Prompt and professional. Did quality work .

Gave fair estimate, showed up on time, gave us receipts for materials purchased. Was very good to work with and flexible when asked to expand job options, I would hire him again for other work around the house.
