David the owner was reassuring and confindent in the beginning to the project. Howerver through the process there was problems with workers who where fired. The project did not get completed in a timely manner. There where delays with cabinets and cabinetry when time to notify them the drug there feet to do the work. Than they took holiday's off .Than covid happened. Last communication was in March. Been trying to contact them since April and not responding by email, phone, text and business phone disconnected. A third of the job is incomplete materials and labor.

Initial project was great but second project was sub standard and incomplete.

Mr. Staub started the project but left it unfinished with the majority of the funds in the contract. In addition, we had contracted for a smaller outdoor job on the house. I paid him the funds and none of that job was done. He does not answer nor return phone calls and the listed address is a shooting gallery at present. I would love for him to contact me at any time.

Dave was very nice and professional. He was timely for our appointments. This whole experience was a learning experience for me and there were some bumps in the road. I take responsibility for some of these bumps since this was my first time. I definitely didn't ask enough questions. This was an insurance claim and Dave ended up lowering his estimate to match the insurance estimate-in hindsight I wish he hadn't, I would have rather then challenge the insurance company to make sure I got everything I wanted. There were assumptions I made that were not included-like the ceilings were painted, I know they were not ruined by the pipe burst but when everything else in the room is replaced it looks terrible with the old colors. Those details is what I missed through the process. The initial estimate did not include anything like that, it just said paint room. Had I been notified and asked I would have probably said paint them even if cost more, but again I think the assumption was that it was an insurance claim. The drywall work was great, they were in line with the project timeline provided for me, the floors looked great, the painting job was just ok, the details were not done, only put 1 coat on a newly drywalled wall, had to ask for a second. I wasn't living in the house so I didn't have the opportunity to address things along the way. Dave more than happily put a second coat on the wall. I have heard of terrible things that happen with a remodel and I didn't experience that but I will say it was still a little frusturating to pay a lot of money and have the details overlooked. I hope this is a fair review as I had not other renovation experience. I shared these with Dave and we discussed them. However my advice is to ask a lot of questions, get a detailed estimate my was very general and he accommodated my request without adding money to the cost where we may have been on different pages. They did a couple things I wasn't expecting and a couple things were not done that I was expecting. This would have been eliminated spending more time during the walk thru and written estimate. I also should have been there more frequent to monitor the progress. But we learn.

Dave and his team are amazing! Dave is very knowledgeable and gave us great suggestions on taking down a wall between our living room and kitchen. It looks beautiful and we are very happy with the job Dave and his team did. They are good, affordable and professional.

Dave and his team renovated a bathroom that had been ruined by another person. The final product was beautiful.

Dave and his team renovated our master bathroom. We took it completely down to the studs and replaced the subfloor as well. Dave gave excellent recommendations throughout the project and was willing to work with us so that I could complete portions of the remodel. He gave excellent suggestions on tile and provided some key insight into portions of the project I was completing. His team was professional and kind. Dave was always prompt in responding to calls or emails and in making changes at our request as the project developed. My wife and three young kids were home during the remodel and they felt safe during the entire process. The new bathroom looks great!

Dave and his team renovated 3 bathrooms and made other repairs and renovations to our home. His work was excellent, his team professional and very tidy. Dave also was very helpful in providing suggestions for tiles, finishes, matching plumbing requirements, color schemes, etc. Dave was always prompt in responding to calls or emails and in making changes at our request as the project developed.

Our master bathroom had only a shower and we wanted to large soaking tub so in order to accommodate that we had to reconfigure our master bathroom, hall bath and linen closet to allow for additional square footage in the master. We received 3 quotes and although David of Custom Renovations was not the cheapest I felt his workmanship was better. Dwight managed the project and he and his team of two guys that assisted him were ever always professional and personable and just really a joy to work with considering the stressful circumstances of living without your main bathrooms for months. We also have two small kids under 3 that they were very respectful towards. Brett (I hope I got that right) was very respectful of my design vision and I felt confident in their hands. The project did take much longer than projected and I did wish that the communication through those delays would have been better. But I have to say the final result was worth it in the end!! I can not say enough good things about the quality of the workmanship that went into these spaces!!! They even went so far as to hang decor pieces for me and finish up any loose end items that we found weren't quite finished yet. They did not walk off the job until every little nit picky item we noticed was done to our satisfaction. It is a stressful thing to go through a major renovation like that, especially with young kids and I work from home several days a week, but I will say knowing I was in such professional and talented hands made it easier. I would definitely recommend David and his company for any remodel project you are considering!!

Dave and his staff did an awesome job with all needs, we experienced a lot of water damage, he met all of my needs as well as he was very polite and professional, I will most certainly be hiring them in the future for any other projects that need to be done. I would highly recommend them for and home improvement needs.

Dave's Affordable Custom Renovations did a great job on my bathroom and at a reasonable price. They didn't just replace existing fixtures and floors, they expanded my bath by bumping into two adjacent rooms, which made it a major project involving considerable carpentry, wiring, and plumbing. I cannot stop talking about how happy I am with their work. Dave was professional and easy to work with. He and I went tile shopping together, we worked together to select cabinetry and he generally guided me through the project. I found the people who work for him to be friendly, trustworthy, and Dwight made sure that I was involved in all decisions, large and small . And they had the job done in a reasonable time. They were there daily working and getting the job done. A friend of mine was having her bath remodeled at the same time as I was doing mine and it took more than twice the time to complete her bath because she ran into so many problems and even though her bath was more costly than mine, she was ultimately less than happy with the results. She should have hired Dave's Affordable Custom Renovations. I highly recommend them.

We had severe water damage in our master bath and decided to use the opportunity to remodel the entire bathroom. We found David on Home Advisor and were impressed by all the positive reviews his company had received. We couldn't be happier with our decision to hire Dave and his team! Dwight, Kevin, and the rest of the team did a really stellar job on the remodel, and we are thrilled with the results. Communication was excellent throughout the process, the crew was always punctual, polite, and efficient, and we were impressed by the level of professionalism and courteousness each one of them displayed. Even though the project took slightly longer than we expected, it never felt burdensome to have these guys around - they were quiet and clean, and worked hard each day, so we knew the work was progressing in a steady manner. The cost was also very reasonable, and the entire team was extremely trustworthy. We will definitely hire Dave and his team again for any future kitchen or bathroom projects and would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

Very pleased with the results. David works hard to ensure you are happy. I had kitchen remodeling done and the the cabinets Dwight made are a standout. I have recommended this company to friends and family and I would not hesitate to use them again.

Very good experience with Affordable Custom Renovation. David and his team (especially Dwight) worked really hard on remodeling and renovation of our two bathrooms. They communicated with us during the whole process making sure we are agree on the choice of tiles, paint color, vanity, shelves, and other details. It was a challenging process going through this renovation but the final result is amazing.

David and Dwight worked very hard to make sure that we were satisfied with their work. I will admit: it is very hard to live through a renovation. But, the end result is so worth it! We waited a long time to do this, and I am so happy with the results. I appreciate the great suggestions and ideas that they offered as this project evolved.
