I was placing my home on the market so it was a large job and money was not an issue for me, quality was. Be very clear about your expectations. Nail holes were not spackled, if there was a nail in the wall it was just painted over. Extremely heavy paint drops still visible and bubbling of paint. No time was taken to make sure these items were taken care of properly. He mentioned multiple times that he needed to get to other jobs in the area. Atkin is the one he really liked mentioning. Will do bare minimum to pass a quick walk through. Heâ s about getting his money and moving onto the next job.

"First of all Renee S. when I was at your house to look at your project your husband was leaving for work and you were going around crazy showing me these rooms which were the kitchen, stairwell to the basement, bedroom, and bathroom. Now normally I spend 45 minutes to an hour and 25 minutes looking at a project, I did not even know which way to turn because you were going fast telling me what you want to be done. I specifically told you that day if you leave the nails in the wall then I will note the holes and you told me that you did not want me to use Sherwin Williams that you wanted me to use Benjamin moor paint and you rushed me out."

Rich & his team are the best painters/stainers I have ever seen. He came and gave us a very reasonable bid for all of the outside work that we needed to have done. We have a cabin with lots of out-buildings. Two decks needed power-washing and staining. The cabin, the garage, the boathouse & two other small buildings needed doors, shutters& trim painted. Rich kept us informed about the status of the job on a regular basis. He & his crew did a fabulous job. I donâ t think that our place has ever looked better. We highly recommend Rich & his team. We will use them again.

I have always done my own painting but I will not do that anymore. They came right on time. Taped and covered everything, cleaned up everything and the job looked wonderful. Willl definetly hire them again.

"David, I have done hundred concrete floors either in basements or garages epoxy in my 26 years of painting. Can you try and tell me I have no knowledge of what I'm doing? That's ridiculous, I have never had a bad review with any of my other customers, see floaters. About 70% of my work comes from word-of-mouth and the other 30% comes from HomeAdvisor, the fives started on Home Advisor and I'm a five-star with my other customers that I don't have with Home Advisor, so the river review you gave me? It is going to hurt me..."

We hired Rich to clean and restore a large amount of decking and the floor of a screened porch. He used a cleaner, power washer and sander to bring the old, weathered boards back to life and finished them with two coats of semi-transparent stain. The result is an even color over the old boards as well as the new, cured wood used to replace damage. His pricing is fair, he was there when expected, the job was done neatly and items that needed to be moved were put back in their proper places. A half-point was deducted for difficulty in making contact but a text message got results. We feel good about recommending Rich to others who need this kind of help.

Rich did an excellent job from the written estimate all the way through to a walk around with me when completed. Care was taken to ensure everything was either taped off or taken down to avoid any unwanted paint spray. The area was kept neat and orderly during the entire project.
