Rickett Design Studio, LLC

Rickett Design Studio This project had a rocky start with a different contractor. After 10 weeks and no results we had to fire him. I was not sure where to go after that as it put us way over budget. I checked Angie’s List and after entering the details of the job only Rickett Design Studio came up. I messaged them at about 7:50 am and they called me 20 minutes later! We had the initial consultation 2 hours later and they had a proposal by end of day. Derek said he could start the next week after taking care of a few things and that the job would be completed in 4 weeks. Derek started as scheduled and had his part of the job completed in about 4 weeks! Unfortunately the custom shower glass took more like 7 weeks putting the completion at about 10 weeks. We were super impressed at the professionalism and commitment expressed by him and his team. The quality of work is top notch while price is also right up there. We are so very happy and grateful for this work and only wish we knew of them earlier. I’m so happy with the new master bathroom! It is a dream come true for me!

This is the team that has completely replaced all of the flooring in our home over the last week and a half. The whole house. Every room.... WHILE STILL LIVING IN THE HOUSE! Derek and Faith have been amazingly supportive and even went to bat for us against their suppliers when there were significant delays in the flooring options that we originally picked. They advocate for their clients and truly care about improving their quality of life and doing it all the right way. Cannot recommend Rickett Design Studio highly enough!

We couldn’t be happier with our complete porch remodel! Derek provided a fair estimate, ordered all the materials, and completed the job on time. The work included removing old windows, reframing and installing eight new windows, reframing the space to fit the new door, replacing all the rotted wood, and completing all the trim work. His workmanship was excellent, and he went above and beyond with the finishing touches to make sure everything looked just right. He even moved the front porch light to a place that made more sense. We truly appreciate his dependability, attention to detail, and pride in his work. We’re so glad we chose him for our project and wouldn’t hesitate to hire him again. We would gladly recommend him to our friends, family, and anyone looking for someone they can trust to do a great job!
