"To Home Advisor and any future customers to read this; I am the owner Mike Sandoval . We did make a mistake on Robert "Bobby" Boucher order when they were delivered. We were suppose to have GAF impact resistant shingles delivered. Unfortunately, when delivered they were GAF Timberline HD Shingles vs GAF Armor Shield Impact Resistance shingles. This was a mistake and upon discovering this we stopped work immediately and asked Bobby if he wanted us to tear off the shingles we had installed and come back tomorrow to install the Impact Resistance Shingles. Bobby Stated he wanted to think about it as he doesn't want a bunch of nails re-installed on his decking. Bobby called the owner and wanted us to finish the job using GAF Timberline HD Shingles which were already installed, however he wanted to only pay for material and nothing else. Due to the extremely competitive price of $257 per 100 square feet we were unable to do this. The customer made some harsh statements and demands that were very aggressive in nature. I communicated to him that I would work a solution out . Bobby was very rude and condescending & unwilling to work together. I offered a settlement and apologized. He didn't want to accept this fair settlement of two thousand off the already low price for the roof replacement. We then talked about next steps. Bobby then agreed to the settlement of $2000 off. We finished the roof the next day and the City passed inspection the following business day, hence validating the quality of work being completed. Bobby continued to make threats to us. His roof passed inspection with flying colors & we paid for the GAF system plus warranty free of charge due to this error. We offered to re-roof the house with the correct shingles which Bobby decided not to allow us to do and wanted us to simply finish the roof with the GAF Timberline HD shingles. The customer has a good roof installed correctly & at a high quality and extremely low price. The insurance money provided to the homeowner was several thousand more than he had to pay and we reduced our price and paid for a warranty out of our pocket and offered to re-install with correct shingles which the home owner decided not to allow us . I'm licensed and insured with many happy customers & hate having a situation like this occur. Unfortunately the material delivered was incorrect and should not have occurred but we did everything we could to correct the situation and followed the homeowners demands to appease him. We apologized and finished his roof with the most professionalism possible and would like to satisfy the homeowner. He is not willing to make amends only wanted a free roof. He did not come out of pocket for any expense. We would be open to mediate with him to fully satisfy his concerns. Thank you"

"There was absolutely no credit card abuse. Thomas paid half with providing his credit card and the remaining half was due upon completion of project. Upon completion of project credit card was charged. Thomas put a stop payment on credit card and did not pay balance owing for an additional two weeks."

"Not a true statement. All contractors have been paid and we supplied copies of the cashed checks which were paid to the homeowners. In addition, regarding the the cost of the project being over budget, this is not correct as well. The initial estimate was based off of replacing the shingles only on roof, during the tear off it was evident that the decking had to be replaced, which we only charge the cost of material and labor. Lastly, the project was completed and payment was not made for over a week and a half after completion and was a huge hassle to meet the homeowner to collect, as two previous schedule appointments to complete a walk through with the homeowner were not successful due to the homeowner not showing up as schedule. The roof was completed with high quality and low costs. It is unfortunate to have any unsatisfied clients, however the roof replacement was completed at a very high level of professionalism. Homeowner made no initial deposit for their project, and all costs for labor and material were paid by company, when the balance was due it was a hassle to collect the balance owing from homeowner for the work which was completed.
