While Ridgeway and Ernest were not the cheapest electricians, they were by far the most knowledgeable, friendly and detail-oriented vendor we had bid on our project. The final job was completed on time or better, done with extreme professionalism, and everything was clean and tidy. Even the way they twisted the wires before they put on the wire nuts was perfect! Highly recommended!

They contacted me and came on time to give the estimate. Two hours later, they called to give me the estimate. The fan was installed the next day. I would hire them again.

We needed a major upgrade to our home's capabilities, and I was uncertain how part of the job could be done because of the questionable crawl space. Don Bonnet spent well over 2 hours discussing our requirements on the first visit. The estimate was provided in a timely manner, and they were able to accommodate our requested time to have the service performed. Don met his electrician and helper at our house at the start of the job, so that we could walk through the list together. Gil, the electrician,was polite and pleasant, and he and his helper were at our house early each day (good for us and sends a signal that they are conscientious workers reaady to do the work. They finished after 3 days, with the exception of a part that had to be specially-ordered. Don returned some time later and installed the part himself. I can't comment on the charge since I received only one firm estimate. Steve Goldberg also came to discuss our needs but the job seemed too large for his small company. He also was courteous and professional. One other electrician, rated well in the Washington Checkbook came but would only provide an estimate for upgrading the panel, and that seemed a little high. He said the work would have to done on a time and material basis. Thus, I selected Ridgeway and Ernest.

They emailed me within two hours after I put my request into ServiceMagic. I scheduled an appnt for an estimate later that week. Upon receiving the estimate, I hired them. They came, per scheduled, two days later and did the job at exactly what I was quoted. As a new homeowner, they proved to be my best experience with a contractor thus far. I recommend them. Very professional, neat, courteous, timely and giving of solid advice as well.

Absolutely fantastic company to do business with. Very, very timely. Electrician was extremely neat and did a very professional job on my heavy-up. Ridgeway and Earnest's price was $500 less than another electrician quoted my and the other company charged me $40 for the quote. Again, Fantastic Company!

i ended up realizing the job was easy enough to do myself.. but Ridgeway and Ernest were Prompt in their replies to me and had Suggestions about what was required in the project. I was very very impressed with them.

I don't know if I got the best deal on the fan since it was pretty expensive for the actual fan and the installation. However, other factors made me think that Ernst and Young Electricans of Silver Spring, MD are a good company.

I am very pleased with the service and professionalim that I received from Ridgeway. From my first call to Bill to Jeff the tech who came out to perform the work to Bill again who made a follow up phone call to me. If i should need more work done in the future, I will contact Ridgeway again.
