DeLong Forestry and Landscaping

The men showed up right on time. They were very knowledgeable and professional. They trimmed our trees very skillfully and cleaned up the area completely. They also listened to me on my concerns on other trees and explained what they could do for them in the future. I highly recommend Delong Forestry to everyone who needs work done and will definitely use them myself again for all my tree and landscaping needs.

They did an decent job w removal of 2 trees, but took 4 days to do a job that they estimated would take a day and a half. Most annoyed that on the last day they squeezed equipment past 2 healthy trees and scrapped a hand sized piece off redbud trunk and scrapped off a foot by foot and half of all the bark off bottom and roots of maple. Nothing was said to us at all. We noticed it after the work was completed. I had to mention it to owner when he arrived to pick up check. I didn't expect that they would correct but did expect at least apology. He only said it was no big deal and done by the equipment. He offered to seal it but we were not contacted for a week and then they didn't show up that day to fix either.

Finding a tree company that was affordable was very hard due to two walnut trees being between a neighbors house and our brand new privacy fence. We called and got a quote and on Thursday signed our agreement. On Friday they came to start the removal. They did an amazing job especially since he had to do all of the cutting by climbing the trees and roping it. On Saturday they returned and worked all day only leaving maybe 3 hrs of work! I was even more amazed when they knocked on the door with it being Monday and snowing to finish the job! They always arrived on good times, worked hard and fast and did an amazing job even stacking the wood after it was cut and making it into smaller pieces when my husband said they didn’t have to. I will always recommend this company for the affordable price and the amazing business they provided.

I had DeLong Forestry and Landscaping come over and check out some trees that we had on our property. Ron that stopped out first to give me a quote was a wealth of information about trees! He pointed out exactly what was wrong with the trees and explained why some would need cut down and others should just need thinned out. He said that it appeared the previous owner had topped the trees out and explained to us why you should never do that. After they were cut down we could see in the cross section of many of the trees that he said were bad had hollowed out in the middle. All the guys were very professional and great to work with. It did take them a few days to complete the job but we did have 9 trees taken down and 5 more thinned out. For the amount of work they did, the price was very reasonable also!

I hired DeLong to remove a few trees off of our property before installation of shed and privacy fence. They work hard and efficient. They had the trees removed in no time at all. They cut and stacked a nice stack of firewood for us and removed the rest of the debris. They came back a few days later to grind out the stumps since they have a different crew that performs that task. I was very pleased with the work and they didn't want any payment until the work was completed. I would highly recommend their services and wouldn't hesitate to use them in the future.

Job was done fast and made sure everything was picked up. Will do business again great company!!!

Our community contracted with DeLong for snow removal. In 30+ years of working with snow removal companies, DeLong is the worst. The destruction of landscaping caused by their plow trucks is unacceptable. I paid for snow removal to be done by hand on my driveway and they never got it right. Not only that, but they used their plow trucks to push snow up my driveway and pile it in my yard, which caused my grass to die. Repairs in the spring were promised but never made. DeLong also sub-contracts some or all of the work and has no control over the workers. Do not walk away from this company.

I bought an older home that the back yard had been let go to where it was over run with honeysuckle and small trees. They came in and cleaned it all out plus removed a giant stump in my front yard. They did an excellent job and my yard looks great.

DeLong Forestry did an excellent job removing a large, half-dead tree on my property. They responded extremely quickly, both to my initial enquiry and to the actual removal of the tree. They were polite, careful and polite and more reasonable than other companies. I heartily recommend them!

The workers did a great job and Mr. Delong himself did the stump grinding....they cleaned up and all were very polite and nice....I would use them again if I need someone to take down a tree.

The tree cutting was excellent it had to be delayed about three days due to equipment repair, however, I was updated each day. They were very sensitive to not damaging the surrounding grounds and did an excellent job of cleanup. Their skill and expertise was top notch. I will certainly use them again.

Great work removing two pine trees and trimming maple. Removed stumps cleaned up afterward. Jeremy and Ryan and crew are very pleasant and easy to do business with. Will use them to plant new trees.

Total tree removal and stump grind in just over an hour. Cleaned up all the debris, removed wood and brush from work site. Price was the lowest I found and I was pleased with their professional attitude and a job well-done! Didn t argue when I asked for a copy of certificate of liability.
