Scam scam scam. Bogus license, bogus contract.

I signed a "contract" with Right Choice in May 2024 to have two doors replaced and a deck torn down and rebuilt. At that time, I gave the company a deposit of 10% down payment for the project. I have not heard from them since even though I have left several messages with the office. I have filed a criminal complaint with my local police department for theft. I have also filed a complaint with DATCP. I discovered through DATCP that this company has numerous complaints filed with the State of WI. This company is not accredited with the BBB and has a D rating. Right Choice Construction has numerous law suits for theft and scams filed against them listed on CCAP. Many of them are still open. The "contract" that Right Choice Construction emailed me is not a valid home improvement contract. Per DATCP statute, a contractor must inform the buyer of written lien waivers in the contract. The contractor has not provided any notification of my right to lien waivers. Also, the contract emailed to me does not specify what the service is for or what work will be done to my property. I cannot give a rating on quality of work; they have never started the work. I don't believe they ever will. Due to the hazard of my deck, I was forced to have it replaced by another company. Right choice construction was aware my deck was a safety hazard and needed to be replaced within a set time frame. The same company that did my deck will also be replacing my doors.

Had them tackle our roof, we see a lot of hail so they recommended a class 4 impact-rated shingle I wasn't sure what those were but they explained everything in detail. I had no idea how important a shingle was until I sat down with them, other companies before them were in and out before I could ask them anything, but these guys took their time with me to ensure I made the best decision for me and my family. A bonus piece of information is they are full service, they do all sorts of projects, next on the list is windows! Would recommend and use them again, very nice job guys!!

The salesman lied to us. The company will not return my calls about an issue with the windows. I feel that after they sell the product they don't care.

We had never purchased windows before and we were pleasantly surprised how easily Tyler and Right Choice helped us with our decision as it was a big investment into our home. Very thorough with our options and we learned a lot about windows. We felt like well informed customers.

The work looks OK from the outside. But the experience was poor . The specific product contracted for was not applied. There was damage to the insulation material under the siding because they worked off ladders versus using platforms. They dropped an expensive barn light which I had to replace at my expense. The crew was never checked on by the supervisors. It's probably my fault I did not stop the workman when I realized they did not have the correct materials and were going to install it anyway. It probably wasn't the crews fault. It was managements.

The siding crew had the entire house finished beautifully in 2 days. Debris was cleaned up and cleared away quickly.

Just had some travel time on one window that the paint was scuffed. The guys had a long day. Didn't want to hold them back. I can touch it up.

Working with them has been a breeze! We had them replace the last few windows we needed in a our recently purchased home. Each person we have spoke with has been knowledgeable! And we got a surprise thank you package in the mail with some amazing cookies!! The guys that came to do the install were kind, curious and efficient.We have two kiddos and the guys joked around with them and were funny! We have had a great experience all around and will reccomend them to anyone needing windows!! Thank you guys!

Right from our very first time meeting with Right Choice Construction, we were impressed! The salesman, Tony, was so personable and really took the time to listen to our needs. He helped us pick out the best windows for our budget and the functionality that we needed. To put icing on the cake, a few days after we had signed our contract, we got a package in the mail. Fresh baked cookies in a tin that said Thank You and Right Choice Construction Mugs. I've never heard of a business doing such a nice and thoughtful thing! Plus the cookies were really good :D This company even sent out a second person, Matt, to re-measure all of the windows and make sure they were the kind that we had wanted. To me, that is just high-quality work and professionalism! It was also nice because he was able to give us a ballpark time frame of when they would be put in (which the windows arrived earlier than expected so they were installed and done with weeks before their prediction, that's a plus in my book!) Fast forward to the installation days. My husband and I both had to work when they were going to be here but that actually worked out just fine. It was only a two-day installation but each day that we got home, they had cleaned up our house really well, leaving no mess behind. Once they were finished, the owner of the company, Rich, came over and did a walk-through with us, making sure we were satisfied with each and every window. The warranty with this company is phenomenal as well! This company is definitely worth checking out! We highly recommend Right Choice Construction for their excellent customer service, punctuality, professionalism, and down-to-earth people. We have several projects planned for the future and you can bet on where we're going to go!

We have had multiple windows and two doors installed by RCC. The salesmen are great and the installers go above and beyond. Very pleased with the results!

They were timely in getting back to me for the initial estimate. They were easy to work with. They provided options ranging from cheap to expensive and helped me to choose something that was in my budget. When we did have an issue with something being incorrect, they took care of having it corrected and didn't charge extra.
