He came out 2 days later to do the job and had it fixed within 2 hours. 2 weeks later and still no issues! Very friendly, highly recommended!

I had requested one outlet in my garage and one in the utility room. My electric panel is located in my utility room so it was a short run. I had requested an estimate. It was $192 but that was only for one outlet in the utility room. The electrician was there for only an hour as he did not run a wire from the panel to the new box but instead took 110 amps from the 220 dryer outlet. After I had questioned the price for an hour job I then asked if what was done was code. I asked for the owners number. Instead the owner told the electrician to knock off $20 which he did. My wife paid him as I was at work. I came home from work and the electrician (who was very professional and a nice young man) returned to my house. Gave me a full refund and took out the illegal outlet that he had installed 5 hours before. He said he did what his boss had told him the first time, but as I questioned him he took the code question to a journeyman electrician who told him it was not code and could cause a fire. I asked him why can't he just do the job the right way now that he was back to the house and he said I would but you won't want to pay what my boss is asking. I said how much? He said "$350 and I know you won't pay that much". It would take about 2 hours in my estimation. Anyway..... the boss whoever he is wouldn't speak to me on the phone and the poor guy that was just following orders had to refund my money and undo his earlier work.
