Initially, we had a GREAT experience with Jason and his team. We had new flooring installed and the process was pretty straightforward. However, a year and a half after install, multiple issues have come up with the flooring and communication has been absolutely terrible. It is very difficult to get any sort of response, and I am having to now pay another contractor to fix multiple things that should have been covered under labor. Certain things were installed poorly and with poor materials, as there should not be floor panels peeling up and transitions breaking less than two years after an expensive install.

I hired Jason, owner of Right-Hand Man, to complete some projects around my home. Communication was a nightmare. The pictures will show the quality of work. I have ring videos where, Jason and foreman, Cody, blatantly discuss deceiving me about damages they caused & their lack of knowledge. Text messages where I was bullied and talked down to. During the weeks they were at my home, here is what happened. 1. They severely damaged my deck with improper use of a pressure washer. When one of the workers showed up and saw the damage, he called Cody on video chat and said they should hold off staining and make this right. He held the phone to the deck & showed Cody the saw dust and splinters. He said if he came home and found his deck like this he will be pissed. Cody tells him he has huge plans that night, huge (he was picking up a check), and for the crew to slap 2 coats of paint to the deck. Cody showed up around an hour later, saw the damage, put his hands on his head and walked around for a minute. His huge plans were more important than doing the right thing. Cody tells them to go ahead and paint over splinters and saw dust. Cody met me at the house that evening. I just came home from work and had not looked at the deck. He collected my $1,707.29 check and never said a word about the damage. Our agreement was the price included the stain. I was charged for stain and never re-imbursement. I confronted Jason on 7-22-24. He would not return my calls. He finally sent his crew back on 8-12-24, left and did not come back again until 8-22-24 to finish the deck. 2. The pressure washer threw saw dust & wet debris all over the side of my house, windows, & lawn furniture. 3. Replaced the stairs to my deck and the stairs rocked back and forth. When I confronted Jason, he sent me a condescending text message that he does not do passive aggressive.That I should tell him if something is wrong, Which I had several times. 4. Jason did not know how to properly hang an exterior door & storm door, leaving the weather guard off the storm door. Jason is heard on the ring video telling his men he does not know what I am saying goes on the bottom of the storm door. I sent him a picture where I left the metal guard on my table. Jason still did not understand and tells his men to lower the door; leaving a gap at the top and bottom. My house was full of flies. In the picture you will see my son properly installed the weather guard. 5. When putting the exterior door trim back they left hammer marks all around the frame. Did not caulk around the outside storm door. Never made that right. 6. They broke the alarm contact while replacing my door and it cost me $165 to replace. 7. Left a 10' X 10' section of my garage ceiling with drywall so badly applied I will have to pay to have it pulled down and redone. 8. Left paint on my front porch & handrail. 9. They never cleaned up after themselves, leaving food containers behind, in addition to all the paint & stain buckets, brushes, old doors, drywall dust, wet mud and saw dust all over my house, windows, and lawn furniture. 10. I have trouble with my vision & stressed that a handrail to my interior stairs must begin at the very top of my stairs and end at the bottom. I supplied the handrail. I texted a picture to Jason and physically showed Cody what I needed. Cody cut the new handrail so short, I have to walk down 3 steps to reach it. 11. Cody repaired louvered doors to my laundry room. They fell two days later. Jason fixed them, they fell again. I continually asked for an invoice & receipts for supplies. Here is Jasonâ  s response. Itâ  s hard to find a contractor to show up on the scheduled time. RHM was timely, courteous and the work was excellent.

I would highly recommend this team for any project you might be contemplating. They are responsive to any information requests prior to the job, arrived on time and ready to get started, and did the job quickly. They made lifting a double wall oven look easy. I wouldn't hire anyone else to do any future jobs we have. We are extremely satisfied.

Professional and polite. Cleaned up work area. Good communication before install. I will use this service in the future.
