Bathroom - Remodel
I initially had a good experience with this contractor since he started off professional and nice; however, things took a turn when it came to the pricing. He increased the price beyond what we had agreed upon. When I reminded him of the original price, he argued with me, so I had to document it in writing/text for clarity. He originally estimated we needed two wallpapers, but his calculations were wrong, and we ended up needing four. These wallpapers were from Anthrologie so it was $350 a roll. Despite the miscalculation, he completed half of the job well and even installed a cross for me, which I was thankful for and eventually gave him a $25 extra tip on top of the $60. I paid him $500 for the incomplete job as he promised he would come back. I was always polite and respectful throughout the process. However, when he returned the second time to finish the job, the result was extremely disappointing. The wallpaper didn?t cover the entire wall, leaving noticeable gaps. Horrible.
