Rio Electric (Fidel Esquivel) has been fantastic to work with on our residential electrical project at in Espanola. Fidel handled everything from the initial electrical rough-in and panel installation to custom lighting, wiring, and Starlink setup. I would have been happy to have given 5 stars to this company, but the lack of follow up with their work was shocking. After spending close to 10 thousand dollars to do a complete rewire of my home as I stayed in a hotel for a week, the home still has electrical issues. After reaching out to them again, since they did the work initially, they didn't want to be bothered with trying to make their work right. I had NO intentions of not paying for the company to fix what they knowing left that could cause issues after the job. The only mention of the issue from them came AFTER I called and stated that I was having problems. They said they knew the issue could happen due to the way they left the job, yet failed to mention it to me at the time of the work being done to give me the option to upgrade and do the job right the first time. After reaching out to him several times and him postponing coming, they finally just blew me off and stated I need to find someone else. I was never rude or expected him to do anything for free. They simply don't care about the job they do or what position they leave you after the work is done. I would say that I would never use them again, but that's a decision they made. Thanks for your continued lack of concern with your response... I have not received call. Good luck if you need them after they do the job...

Excellent customer service! Efficient and trust worthy

I think because of the weather(wind), we were lucky to have them available on such short notice. They are a higher quality company which normally means they are on bigger jobs than ours. if you can get them, they show up on time and work quickly and are really reasonable. I feel quite safe about the work they did since electrical is nothing to fool around with. (Ive done my own in the past and always had some second thoughts about it).

Rio Electric showed up and got the job done with instructions about location and how to contact my tenants in who's unit there was an electrical problem.

They came to my home the day I called them, unlike other electricians who gave me a two week window, and Rio let me know if they were going to be a few minutes late. The two gentlemen who came were friendly, easy to work with, and highly skilled. They did an excellent job checking outlets and installed lighting fixtures. Within minutes of requesting a referral for an electrician I received a call from Leroy at Rio Electric. He was courteous and knowledgeable. He was able to schedule me the next day. Leroy patiently explained to us some of the features of our household electrical system and taught us how to do minor maintenance. The electrician was very professional. He was on time. He repaired a plug, which want ,unchanged work, but since the appliance had caught on fire, he could have told us anything, and we would have believed him, so I think he was honest and charged less,than I had expected.
