Rite Way Heating and Air

They gave us a quote for a swamp cooler. they did the job well. But then they failed to give us a proper detailed invoice and they did not give us the papers for the warranty on the cooler. We have tried many times to contact them. We get responses. But still no paperwork. That was in June. This is now Nov. It is a shame to have to think less of them for this matter.

Check your bank statements if you use a card to pay this company! Our experience with them was an absolute joke. We scheduled to have our a/c installed in July and were told that two technicians would be providing this service and it would be a 1-2 day project. My husband was told they would start on either Thursday or Friday that same week or be pushed back until Monday the next week at the absolute latest which was fine with us because that was the quickest a company could install for us and Rite Way did give us a competitive rate. Thursday came and went with no update, Friday we were told they would be dropping parts off and they would get started Monday. Monday rolled around and after finally getting in touch with the tech (Tim) we were told that the project would not be started until the next morning. Tim did not show up in the time frame he gave us and showed up later that night. He did not bring proper tools and had to leave early. He told us he would be there at 730 am Wednesday so he could finish the job before my husband left for work. He did not show up until around 3 pm, he had to leave because he finished the outside but could not do the inside because I was very ill and did not feel comfortable without my husband at the house. He finally showed back up around 630 pm to finish the job. He was here until 11 pm that night, much longer than the time frame he gave us for completion. He overcharged us by $20 and told us he would give us cash and then never followed through. A couple of days ago my husband got a call from Miguel Salazar informing us that they **accidentally used our credit card** to pay for their phone bill! This charge was almost $500! He really wanted to pay us in gift cards but my husband refused and he told us he would be dropping off $500 cash. Did we hear from them? Hahaha absolutely not! I had to dispute the charge and now have to wait to get that money back. Do NOT use this company! They insisted that they work in the home with nobody here, did not show up in their time frames, and used our credit card for their own use! We hardly received an apology from them and my husband had to stay on top of them to complete the work that we were paying them for. They compulsively lied to us when they could have just been honest and told us that they were actually running weeks out instead of trying to take on an extra job they obviously couldnt handle. The a/c works but just save yourself the hassle and go to literally any other company.

I highly Rite Way heating & Air. I had them replace my entire system. They are true professionals with excellent attention to detail. I am definitely a Rite Way customer for life!

They were professional, and did amazing work! They will continue to be my go to for HVAC work going forward. The AC unit they installed is working amazing.
