Ritzcraft Pools and Pavers, Inc.

Ritzcraft Pools and Pavers is the worst company I have had to work with yet in this area. The MOST AWFUL EXPERIECNCE. I didn't review for a long time, but I would hate for any of you to go through what I did. We signed a contract in 2021. They didn't start for years. They couldn't figure out permitting, it was due to Covid, I think I heard a hundred excuses. We were instructed to get a survey then a topography survey, so we did. During demo, they cut our MAIN ELECTRICAL LINE as well as our cable lines. FPL had to come out and luckily the demo guy was not killed. Most of the tiles were severely chipped and broken, making edges very sharp and dangerous. If my children were to hit any of these chips and sharp edges, it would be an immediate trip to the hospital. They demanded payment before they would finish the pool, so unfortunately I had to pay everything before it was even done. A few weeks after finishing, it rained. ALL OF THE WATER from the pavers went directly INTO MY PORCH causing damage to all of my items on the porch as well as the bottom of my house. I have videos. They did not use the topography survey and pitched the entire deck to go into my porch! Dave the owner was out and as nice as he could be, promised the world and fixed NOTHING. He said the paver guys would be back out. When they came out MONTHS later they fixed half of the pavers so there is water still coming into my porch, damaging my home, almost 3 years later. The girls in the office do not know much about permitting, business, customer service, or pretty much anything pertaining to the pool business. It's embarrassing for them as a company. They also charged me for a vacuum pump they never installed and refuse to give me a refund. NOW our pool heater went out, $2500 part, and they will not give me my warranty paperwork or any proof of purchase so that I can file a warranty claim. Also, all of the registration paperwork was left outside behind the heater and was soaked with rain because I had no idea they left it there until cleaning yard one day. They NEVER passed inspection. They scheduled inspections without even letting me know and then blamed it on access. I asked several times by email and phone to complete the project and schedule the inspection. I ended up having to schedule the inspection. We FAILED again for drainage issues. I feel so bad, I referred this company to my neighbor and he encountered many of the same problems. They destroyed his new white privacy fence and refused to pay for it. I have been in contact with Sarasota County and will no venture to BBB, but I want to make everyone aware of the nightmare we encountered in hopes you do not have to go through the same thing. I would love to hear back from Ritzcraft but they have been ignoring me for almost a year. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, PAY THE EXTRA MONEY, DO YOUR RESEARCH, BUT THIS COMPANY IS AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE TO WORK WITH.

Great company with great staff. They pay close attention to detail and communicate well during the course of construction.

Very good experience with the process, timing and quality of the project. Price was a bit more than others but I feel it was justified in the end by the professional results.

They were awesome to work with in a tough time for products and customer service. They did everything they promised in the timed that was promised. Very good customer service and they have a great team now when other pool companies are loosing theirs. Total thumb up.

The salt system they installed has a broken cover. They do not care that I have to use a bungee cord on a $1200 job they did to keep cover on. They lied about it. Said the cover is not needed. Straight up lie...why would manufacturer assemble this with a cover if not needed? I hate being lied to

Our pool was completed AND paid in full at the end of March. The plumbing to the heater was hooked up incorrectly causing metals to enter the pool. Since the completion, we have enjoyed our pool for about 2 months. The water is not safe and the owners show a complete lack of urgency. It has been 21 days since the owner Dave said it would be about a week. DO NOT do business with this company.

What a terrific job from beginning to end! In spite of terrible weather and material delays, Ritzcraft managed to complete the project on time. With anticipation of product material delays, Ritzcraft was proactive in delivering materials way in advance of the start date. We found Ritzcraft to be very customer oriented, polite and responsive. They were very creative, artistic and made suggestions throughout the process. Ritzcraft was also very receptive to suggested changes. We can clearly say the finished product is far beyond what we were expecting and hoping for. We highly recommend signing up for the 30 day pool maintenance service as soon as the plastering is done. What a bunch of team players from the top down! They should all be proud of themselvesâ ¦

My initial appointment with our sales rep Brad Reeves was very informative and easy. We told him exactly what we wanted to do and he walked us through how it will be done, the process and the time frame that it will be completed in. Ritzcraft assigned Nelso as our project manager and he communicated with us throughout the entire process. Anytime we had a question he was responsive and he also provided us a few tips and tricks that were very helpful. The project got completed earlier than expected and we are very happy with the results. I'd recommend Ritzcraft to anyone who is looking to repair their pool or build a new one.

We are extremely thankful for our experience working with Ritzcraft Pools and Pavers. The owners were highly professional, knowledgeable, warm, and a fresh-breath to work with. We dreamed of a Mediterranean escape in our backyard and Ritzcraft Pools and Pavers have exceeded our expectations. We love our midnight blue finish and light sand/terracotta pavers. We have accented the pool area with some beautiful Cypress trees and our sweet friends and family have not stopped raving. Thank you, Ritzcraft pools and Pavers, you have our highest recommendation.

My pool looks great. Everyone was pleasant and nice to work with. When I had a coupled small problems they were promptly solved . It was an easy and nice experience.

We were very unhappy with the tile and coping on our 3 year old pool. We did research and found Ritzcraft Pools to be highly recommended. They did a great job replacing the original tiles and coping and we love how great the pool looks now. Looks like a completely different pool. Hated looking at it before and can't stop looking at it now. A complete transformation.

Some of my pool tiles were coming loose. Ritzcraft assessed the situation, told me what work was needed and quoted a good price. Jesus, the project manager, helped us choose new tiles and coping so that we did not have to replace everything. We are very happy with the quality of the work. The finished job looks great!

I highly recommend Ritzcraft Pools & Pavers! They just completed a complete overhaul of my pool area. They removed old pavers and installed natural stone, replaced the pool tile, resurfaced the pool, changed out the pool equipment and converted to salt. They started the project the end of Jan and my pool was filling by mid-Feb. Their crews were on the job early in the morning and stayed late into the evening. Every day they left the job site neat and tidy. I was assigned a foreman, Jesus, whose job was to make sure the project was completed correctly and on time. He was on the job every day, made sure I knew what was happening and answered any questions I had. Ericka and David (owners) checked on the job throughout the process and were always available for questions. We are so happy with the pool and the work that they did. They were clear and fair on their initial pricing and did not change it except for when I specifically asked for something to be added. They were recommended to me by a friend who was very happy with their work and I would recommend them to all of my friends. Thank you Ritzcraft!!

There was a problem with the bottom of the pool & I had a very difficult time getting it taken care of. Was disappointed in how it was handled.

I can t thank DAVE and ERICKA enough. They were great to work with and their crew was fantastic. They maintained excellent communication throughout and their crew was punctual and worked continuously from start to finish. Our remodel was somewhat complicated to include busting out concrete, adding a huge sunshelf, several lights, raising to entire pool depth, and revamping the plumbing. The end result is amazing and really helps transform our backyard into a tropical oasis.

We just had our 20 year old pool resurfaced and couldn't be more thrilled with how the pool turned out! The entire team was very responsive and always provided updates and timelines. Ericka was extremely helpful in our decision with the finish and tile and Jesus and his entire crew were so good to work with. The crew was there early every day and stayed until the job was complete. They finished the job exactly as promised and on time. We are extremely happy!

I was in the pool business for 30 years. and the service and the job was all top notch. Don,t hesitate to use them you will be glad you did !

Ritzcraft finished our pool in a timely fashion, and now, we have a beautiful pool and spa. We selected the surface color called Arctic White, which is actually a light blue color, making the pool water a lovely deep blue hue. We re very happy with their ability to match our existing tiling with the step diamonds as well! We recommend them without reservation!

David and his crew are amazing, excellent job on our pool resurfacing and pool heater. Exceptional customer service!

I had travertine installed by Ritzcraft on our lanai and we are thrilled. They also installed new pool tile and it's awesome. Good workers, nice selection, great installation.
