Norsemen Construction

I wrote my first review in the first few months of the job. The job has never been finished. The last I saw of him and his crew, I gave him $2000 and now they are impossible to get ahold of. I'm left with 2 unfinished stairways! STAY AWAY!

We contacted Norsemen about an addition in the spring of 2023, they didn't charge any fee for an estimate and spent two hours in our home discussing concepts and designs. Working with Michael directly was a great experience because he is the carpenter and remodeling expert doing the work and he consistently surprised us with his design ideas and helping us pick colors and items for our home. We had issues with some materials being delayed and subcontractors slow to finish their part but Michael and his team kept us in constant communication and made sure all the work was done the way it was promised. Getting to know Michael and his staff over 4-5 months, I don't know how anyone could have anything but a great experience. It is obvious how much they care about the quality of work and making us feel comfortable through the ups and downs of such a big project. Our home is beautiful and we are still giving tours of the project to friends and family. Thank you so much Michael and Norsemen Team!!! Chris & Audrey

I hired Norsemen to replace all the trim and paint the new trim, doors and windows and redo my interior steps. Michael's crew did a terrible job on the first paint job, his "staff painter" then came to fix everything and then he stopped showing up. Michael required most of the payment up front and then asked for more money for his staff painter to fix things. Michael rarely stopped at the job site and only did to collect money, even when I asked him to look at things. He had so many excuses as to why work was not getting done. My contact said 4-6 week and it was over 6 months. He never even touched my steps, pulled no permit to do them. He terminated my contract after taking $24,000 and not completing the work. He offered not settlement. Do not hire this company!

Rarely onsite to supervise, when concerns were raised about the work Mr. Stroozas became defensive and then disappeared.

Never finished the job. Had to finish myself. Talks a good game but will not finish the job.

Iâ ve hired them twice. Second time I sidnt Ben bother with quotes from others. You get what you pay for and with these guys what seems like a little more upfront in cost is paid back many times over with a project thatâ s done right, quickly and professionally. Even when asked to fix some minor cosmetic issues it wasnâ t a hassle with them. They just took care of me and got the job done. Our deck was built in the fall of 2021 about 6 weeks after my first call with Mike. That includes picking out the product, getting permits, materials delivered, construction, and inspection. Minor cosmetic fixes took about two more weeks. I was in no rush and just had their crew fix it when they were in the area again. All in all a great experience. Iâ ll hire them again for the next project!
