This experience was very satisfying. The owner of the company was very professional and shared his extensive knowledge on the subject and differences of various types of chimneys.

Ron contacted me within a few hours of putting in my request through HomeAdvisor. We scheduled his visit for the next day. He was flexible in time, and then arrived when he said he would. He informed me of all that he would do, and things he would recommend. His work was fast, efficient and clean. Excellent customer service attitude, and he performed required tasks efficiently.

River City Chimney sweep were very professional and friendly. They sent out an email before hand explaining what to expect when they were on the job. When they arrived they placed cloth tarps down and made sure that nothing got tracked over the floor. They went to cleaning the chimney quickly. Afterwards they assesed the chimney and showed me the inside of the chimney with a camera that they had brought so that I could see potential issues. I was explained what caused the issues and ways they could be adressed in the next appointment. This allowed me to make an informed decision for the next step. Great job all around!

I am really happy with the service I received, He was on time, and very courteous. They explained everything being done every step of the way and why everything they did was necessary, in the end they showed me video and pictured taken and gave me recommendations on how best to deal with my issues. They were very patient with my many questions, and they made sure there was no mess when they left, they went above board with cleaning every inch of my fireplace even removing the wood remnants I had left in the grate. I highly recommend this company and will definitely use them again.

Was on time. Did an inspection of the chimney and fireplace, described what he assessed and the resolution as he gathered his tools and went about his business. I have a gas fireplace, so he took the logs out and cleaned them as well as sweeping the chimney. Very satisfied with the job done and his professionalism.
