This review is worth the 2-minute read if you are thinking of hiring the company. In contrast to most of the other reviews that were written after the first cleaning, I have had Anne cleaning for us for several months. When I first met her, she seemed nice, professional, and was reasonably priced. She came to the house to provide me with a quote, and during that meeting, she showed me a checklist that she said she uses every time she cleans and leaves behind to show that she completed everything. The checklist met my expectations, so I hired her. In the several months she has been cleaning for us (every other week), she has never used the checklist, and it shows. Every time she cleaned, she missed things. Some things I let go of, some things I spoke to her about. Yet, she still kept missing things, so I gently reminded her of her checklist thinking that would help her not miss anything. I even offered to create a custom list for our house because we have a few additional rooms that were not included on her checklist (e.g., a home office). I created the list and gave it to her today when she arrived to clean. We had our usual friendly chit-chat, including me telling her that we are having people over tomorrow for the holiday. She went to the basement to start cleaning, and I told her I had to leave to take my son somewhere. Almost immediately after I left, she bailed (I can see this on our door security log) and left a note to quit. Then, she would not answer her phone. Not only did she leave us in a complete bind by not cleaning when she was already here and knew we had people coming over, but she could not even be adult enough to speak to me face to face. She waited until I left the house and then left. How immature! I agree with the other reviewers that she seems like such a nice person, and she makes big promises, but she does not follow through with the level of expectations that she set for herself with her own checklist. I absolutely do NOT recommend this company.

Anne at Rivers Edge was very professional during interactions and did the job I had hired her for (cleaning). Pricing wise, she was more affordable than what other services in a similar profession have quoted me but at the same time a bit higher than others. Since the interactions were more professional than the cheaper ones, I decided to just go with Rivers Edge to be done with it as I was only intending on a one-time cleaning. After seeing the results of her work throughout my home and diligence in cleaning around glass ornaments received from my family, I'm currently looking at hiring Rivers Edge to come back for routine cleanings. Definitely not the level of work I was expecting and was worth the cost in my opinion. Highly recommended.
