Rivers Tree Service

We had a very large oak tree that was literally a hundred years old. I loved that tree. But unfortunately that bad storm that we had in the middle of the night (Weds/Thursday )with those straight line winds, the top part of the trunk cracked right down the middle. Luckily it never fell, but we were about to leave for vacation literally in 4 days and Josh not only responded immediately, he was the best quote out of the seven or eight pros that stopped by the house that day. He was also the only one that can get it down right before we left. Everyone else was going to make us wait a week due to the widespread damage in the Orange, Milford and West Haven area. We couldn't take the risk of getting a storm when we were gone Josh said he could start on Saturday. As promised him and his crew showed up at 8:30 that morning and went right to work. Due to the size of the tree it did take them 2 days to take it down. they worked very hard and I highly recommend Rivers Tree Service.

All within less than 24 hours. Professional, knowledgeable, friendly. Great communication. Just the interaction we needed after such a stressful storm damage situation. On to the next step with Rivers which is stump grinding now that the fallen tree job is complete.

Terrific all the way around. Mr. Rivers stopped by shortly after I requested tree service, was knowledgeable and had the best price quote. Work crew arrived and did a great job, even stacking the logs suitable for firewood along the fence.

Amazing job, quick and professional

Compared to other Co. owner I meet, Josh R. immediately put my mind as ease. I liked him instantly. He was confident, well spoken exerting a knowledge and experience without being overbearing. My work list entailed cutting dead (ski high) white oak limbs, that menaced my parking area. Second, removing a very large and mature swamp maple, well over its prime and sick. ‘Rivers’ main man ‘Victor’ the bucket man/tree climber was top shelf Talented, confided, bright with safety always on his mind as I watched. He as also very conciseness of the smaller trees and shrubs on the ground, as to not disturb them. Victor&Paul (the crew manager) said very little to each other during the big job of dismantling this huge tree. The work went very quickly orchestrated with out any issues. These men were PROS and had done this before. To see these heavy limbs comb down by ropes and pulses is worth photographing. It was a well seasoned crew of 4 and they worked like a choreographed team. Thanks Roger B.

Immediate and excellent service. They came out within a couple of days of my calling, in order to give me an estimate. They were much more reasonably priced than another tree company I called. They cut everything into nice pieces that I can use for firewood. Left the area very clean. Very pleased with the work and the price.

Josh and his crew were excellent, and went above and beyond what was asked. I am in the process of going solar, and needed several trees removed. Josh used his expertise to determine exactly what needed to be removed, and they were quick and efficient with the job. I would absolutely recommend their service for any tree or landscaping project.

Josh has helped me tremendously this past year whet it was removing a massive monster of a tree that had five trees meet at the base to avoid another year of raking the insane amount of leaves (lol) to removing several pine trees that split due to a summer storm or to cutting branches from a humongous tree to protect my new roof. Josh is beyond polite, patient and professional and his crew are incredibly hard working. To strongly recommend his services is an understatement!
