Riverside Lawn & Landscape

We hired Riverside to FIX our existing lighting as well as add new lighting. Our first meeting with Matt was good. We discussed our issues and goals with him and he seemed real receptive. He responded with "we can take care of that" and "no problem!! After the work was completed we immediately had major issues the our existing lighting. He originally said that all our lights were in good working order but after he was paid, he wanted to replace most of them at a major additional cost. Also we have several big lights that he agreed to fix but later said that we need to hire an electrician because he could not work on them after he said he could. We hiring another company to fix our lights.

OVER THE PHONE I WAS TOLD $30 EVERY 2 WEEKS, I WAS BILLED FOR A MONTH OF SERVICE $134. WHEN I CALLED TO INQUIRE I WAS TOLD $35 FOR THE BACK YARD EVERY WEEK. THIS WAS NOT CLARIFIED FROM THE VERY BEGINNING. THIRD TIME THEY SPENT 5 MINUTES CUTTING THE GRASS IN THE BACK YARD BECAUSE IT WAS NOT EVEN GROWN YET FROM THE PRIOR WEEK. I DO NOT APPRECIATE RIP OFFS AND OUTRAGEOUS BILLS.

I had a French drain installed. The work was excellent and fast. My only complaint was that the sod placement in the front yard was insufficient.

Matt was easy to work with. Had great ideas about design & knowledge of plants. Will definitely hire him again.

Good job. Good experience. Very pleased. We have other projects in the works after Thanksgiving. They did a fall clean up including topsoil replacement after all the flooding plus mulch and removal of dead shrubs...They restored my existing drainage system and installed a bullrock perimeter to handle heavy rainfall, preventing flower bed wash out. Next on the list is a flagstone patio hardscape. My landscaping is getting a facelift.

On time at the price promised.

Matt and his crews work well coordinating with other contractors scheduling and additional work being added to the scope of work.

Matt was knowledgeable about drainage problems and offered ideas for new landscaping. Pricing was very reasonable.

Matt and his team installed 3 queen palms in our yard. My wife and I were extremely happy with the service we received and they even transplanted a few smaller palms for us. We were very happy with the experience and final project outcome

Matt's team did a great job of installing a "rock river", landscape beds and small walk way in our backyard. The project included adding 6 yards of soil, two pallets of rock edging around the new beds, and 7 yards of bull rock and the necessary landscape fabric and heavy duty edging. They were really fast and completed everything in six hours. There were small scope changes from the original quote that improved the end result and Matt accommodated the changes without hesitation. The team cleaned up everything and even returned the next day to extend the size of the river so it flowed well when it rained. It looked so good several neighbors have asked for Matt's contact info. I would recommend them to anyone who needs some heavy duty landscape work.

We had a French Drain installed. We are very pleased with the work. Matt is a very nice man to work with and his workers are very polite and hardworking.

Very afordable, best price that I could find and they did a wonderful job. I did ask for some flower beds around my 3 plants which they forgot to do and my husband was the one overseeing what was going on and forgot to remind them but no big deal, still love the work and they even came and fixed 2 broken sprinkler heads a couple months later for free. Very nice guy we talked to.

Matt was easy to work with and was very responsive to our requests. His crew installed a drain at the side of our house. They were prompt, courteous, hardworking and very thorough. Everything was cleaned up and left in excellent condition-even the sod they had to disturb to dig the trench was carefully replaced. We had expected the work to take a day and a half. The side yard was quite narrow and they had to do all work by hand. They were finished with all the drain components and cleaned up in less than half a day. I would definitely call Matt again for any of our landscape needs. Great job!

Matt was a pleasure to work with and his crew was great also. They installed my French Drain and put in a drain in my driveway. Hard working crew. If anyone needs any yard service done these are the folks to hire. Great Job Matt & Crew!

The company gave me the best bid for the work by far. I got great value and did a wonderful job. I am just buying new home right now and I would definitely use company for future projects.

Very professional, friendly, got right to work, dug 3 swells (ditches) for drainage, watered the new grass, cleaned up the yard & was gone in about 8 hours. So far, no water in the house!

Matt did not do landscaping but engineered a drainage system for my backyard. I was really impressed with his crews. The first crew took out a tree and ground out the trunk/roots. The next group constructed a drainage system from my backyard to the street. I was really surprised at how much was done for the quoted price. Will be using them for real landscaping in the future!
