My gracious!!! Our tub/shower transition to a shower makes us feel like we moved into a new home!! Robert made the update so seamlessly, gave great suggestions to help select the replacement parts and materials, cleaned up each day making it feel like the update was magic. We had a plumbing trench in our dining room, and needed it filled and the concrete slab replaced and the laminate floor redone. Mr. Calvo responded to our inquiry right away and came out to inspect the job the same day. The work was done in two days and everything looks wonderful! Mr. Calvo and his team do quality work and are very knowledgeable. They even fixed our closet door that didn’t latch before, even though it wasn’t part of the project! We will use them going forward for any other work on our home.

Contacted Robert about a remodel of bathroom, Entryway and hall, needed due to a flood. Robert helped guide us in material selection, and worked with us to navigate the insurance claim process. Each day, Robert and his team were on time, respectful of the property, and transparent about challenges as they arose. On several occasions he went above and beyond to make sure we received what he had contracted to do. Friendly, professional and detailed. Highly recommend!

Robert and his crew is very experienced,  detailed and hard working.   I hired them to do dryrot repairs before having my house painted.   I am very particular on how I want things.  My Grandfather and Uncle where homebuilders and so I know the difference between a good and bad job.  This is tough for less experienced and knowledgeable professionals,  but this did not phase them.  We walked the job and went over everything in detail and he provided a very competitive bid.  During the job they ended up finding more dryrot then initially expected,  but he just got it done, and didnt "nickel and dime" me.  He was also honest enough to admit he broke one of my tiles while on the roof and offered to fix it and even noted some other broken tiles in other places that he took care of for me as well- no charge.  While I did not expect it he even offered to drive 40 minutes away to pick up the exact lightweight tiles from the manufacturer.  He also worked very well with my painters to make sure everything was caulked and prepped property to ensure a long lasting product.  My home feels like new again.  Thanks guys you went above and beyond.  It was almost like I hired a good friend to work on my home.

I waited to rate until after our first good rain storm. The new door installation is fantastic! We no longer have water leaking into our garage. The new installation is superior to what was originally installed. Robert was a dream to work with and I highly recommend him.

We contacted Robert Calvo to give us a quote and I was pleasantly surprised that his quote was very reasonable. Overall, he did fantastic work. He was on time in the mornings and he worked full days diligently. He completed the project in roughly the time that he originally estimated (there were some supplier delays that weren’t his fault). He even went out of his way to work around our schedule when he came back to the job a couple months later to install the last pieces that were significantly delayed, and he didn’t even think to charge us extra for it. He provided constructive feedback throughout the design and construction process so we could make the most educated decisions about how to design the layout, what materials to use, and more. He welcomed our questions throughout the process and was eager to accommodate some of our pickier requests without asking for change orders. He was very communicative and always made sure we were happy with the way things were looking as it came along. While he was working in our home, he was also very courteous and did everything I’d expect to make sure the dust and mess never migrated to other parts of the house. He made sure to cause as little interruption to our already interrupted lives as he could. Overall, we could not be happier with our experience and with how the kitchen turned out in the end. I would highly recommend Robert as a general contractor for any home remodel.

Robert and his assistant Josh were both fantastic. Our bathroom desperately needed updates and repairs and Robert did a spectacular job with the whole project. He gave us great recommendations on where to shop for the flooring, shower door and shower stall. Robert has a great eye for details and he cares about the quality of the finished product. They were punctual and reliable and very easy to work with. Robert gave us the best price quote for the work we wanted done and his craftsmanship was top notch. We will definitely be going back to him when we remodel our 2nd bathroom!

Robert was able to come out the day after i called him to do an estimate for the repair job and then did the repair job the next day. Great service! He gave a very fair estimate for the job, was punctual and did the job in the time estimated. Our kitchen ceiling looks great again and Robert was very good about cleaning up after himself when his work was finished. I would very much recommend him to my friends and neighbors.

I read through every review for Robert then cross referenced these findings with both Yelp and Google - the outcome was very consistent. Customers gave Robert top marks on both sites. We wanted a few kitchen upgrades, so we contacted Robert for a quote. When Robert arrived it was a bit surreal, I felt like I was meeting a celebrity because the online company scores and reviews are impeccable! Robert arrived on time and was courteous, he explained the work required for our project in advance and provided a timely quote in writing as promised. Robert's price was competitive but his exceptional customer service is what truly set him apart from the other "A" rated contractors we contacted. Robert and Justin arrived on time every day; they worked earnestly and were non-obtrusive. Like other reviewers mentioned, we found Robert to be detail oriented and tidy. They finished on time and cleaned up the entire work zone (they even swept our mess behind our stove before putting it back!). We echo the other reviewers when it comes to Robert's skill. We had a box light converted to canned lighting - his workmanship was so good that no one would be able to tell there used to be a box on our ceiling! Robert you are "The Drywall Whisperer!" I am a first time a buyer who purchased house with a myriad of DIY fixes. After some advice from family I decided to look for a contractor to make the new home process a little less overwhelming. I went ahead and got a bid from three different individuals. After having each of them in my home it became clear, Robert was in a class all of his own, he calmly listen to what I had to say pointed out a few areas in the home I should watch looked at my concerns and the next day wrote me a very fair bid outlining cost of supplies versus his time. The work took two days and was completed better than I expected. In The area where he opened up the wall I couldn't even tell work at been done and over the next few days as I walked around my home moving in I noticed other small fixes he had done without even telling me. He knew I was a nervous first time homebuyer and he took pride in making sure that each project he did was completed to the highest quality. As I watched him and his team member Josh complete each task I was so thrilled I had not tried to do it all on my own; nothing was as easy as it had looked and each thing they problem solved and figured it out and result was fantastic. If you want someone who has fair prices, you don't need to worry about in your home, who has absolutely fantastic finishing work, cares about their job, and is just in general a fantastic person to be around, then you don't need to look any further. Robert (and his assistant Josh) were GREAT! They were meticulous (Robert attributes that to OCD ?), professional, friendly, pleasant to be around (they even whistled and sang while they worked) and the doors are perfect. I've finally found a great contractor and will absolutely use him for future projects.

The new range and dishwasher look and work great! Robert and Josh worked well together and were professional and personable. As they were installing the dishwasher, Robert asked Josh to go to Home Depot for some parts needed, which he gladly did without complaint. On the fly, I asked Robert how much he would charge to install a new dishwasher air gap and kitchen faucet. He didn't balk at the added time to the job and the price was very fair. I was so glad to get those items installed at the same time! Robert's price for all work was fair and reasonable, and I would recommend him to others!

I contacted Robert after the purchase of my first home. The home was built in 1947, and was in need of some updates and TLC. I contracted him to install a new kitchen, update the shower in the bathroom, replace the living room ceiling, install ceiling fans and light fixtures, and paint the entire house inside and out. Robert is a consummate professional. The work came in on time and within budget. He pointed out a few things that I would have overlooked, and I was grateful he caught and repaired them before they became an issue down the road. His assistant Josh handled the painting duties, and his skills are impeccable. Both of them arrived early in the morning, and were extremely pleasant and professional. Robert takes an extreme amount of pride in his work, as does Josh, and the results were breathtaking. The home has been transformed into the dream home that I have always wanted.
