"Heather, We are sorry about your experience with Robert's Construction of Charleston, I want to start with stating that we spent several hours (5+) between texting and phone conversation for a Bathtub with tile surround, a few light fixtures, removal of countertops including disconnecting plumbing, re connecting the plumbing to sink including installing your new disposal and faucet, and lastly your exterior door. You have made it seem that I just entered your home on day one and just helped myself, I didn't see the need to walk in the door and introduce myself immediately. My Teammate Tyrin beat me to the job site and made introduction to you and informed you we were on site and going to start work, when I arrived I started working and directing what was to be done. In regard to invoicing we were originally over your budget which I accommodated with a few adjustments. so instead of offering a line itemed quote I offered a turn key package price. You save money and I saved time on sending over a detailed parts list. I agree that we had a few hiccups but we were extremely rushed with the bathroom, electrical, and exterior door, only having 5 days due to your work schedule and the feeling that you needed to be onsite while work was being performed. We added and accommodated the countertop project in the same week that originally was scheduled for the following week. I went above and beyond to accommodate you and you have not done the same for me. I came over on a Saturday to connect your sink and was the last person at your property. During that visit and all previous visits it was confirmed that you were satisfied with site conditions, progress, and we discussed the next days scope. Not to mention while work was being performed the several times you would stop us to ask us what we were doing, how we were doing it, and details about the project. I asked one day if we could work later than normal and you said that was fine, My tile setter (sub contractor) had a few more hours of work. Me and my team went and had a late *Lunch* at 5:30 p.m. and told you we would return to close down the jobsite and cleanup, (We worked late to accommodate your schedule and also the additional work that was added) About an hour after I left you texted stating you needed to be somewhere by 7:00 I rushed back over to try and accommodate you, again, however it was the grout phase and we absolutely could not have left the tile in that condition. we are sorry you missed your friends concert, we tried to make sure it was ok for us to work late and when we started did not realize there was a strict deadline. I think we finally wrapped up around 7:30 After completing the project, which you paid me directly for via check, you decided you did not feel safe with me returning to your property in order to make any of the small repairs necessary. You also said you were upset and not happy before even hiring my company and initiating our contract. The major plumbing repair/ leak you stated on the phone that they did not charge you for. You notified them first and didn't give us a chance to make the repair costing yourself. Anything that you said occurred we offered to come and correct, but because we made a simple mistake in a rushed situation you feel that we are not qualified or capable to make necessary repairs. I will come out and make any repairs or corrections to the repairs/updates we were apart of but that is all I can do for you! Also you allowed me to send a team member to your house a couple weeks after the project to fix a ceiling fan issue which we were under the impression was taken care of. I hope you the best of luck in the future with any home repairs! Have a Blessed Day, Robert Jenkins Robert's Construction of Charleston 843-901-0982 www.robertscofcsc.com"
