I hired Robinson Roofing and Construction for a full roof replacement in the Rutledge area. The $21,100 estimate ($7,420 materials, $13,680 labor) was not fixed. Job done, but much material unused (5 shingle bundles, 1 roll paper, 3 ridge vents). They charged full amount, tried to reclaim leftovers?no credit given. Issues: subcontracted to Spanish-speaking crew (owner doesn't speak Spanish); used OSB instead of plywood in spots; wrong-color ridge shingles installed (worker pointed it out); butt-dialed voicemail revealed poor oversight and plan to fire subs post-job. No active TN contractor license found on verify.tn.gov (required for >$25k jobs). Billing felt deceptive; process stressful and unprofessional. Roof looks OK visually, but experience was awful. Strongly advise: get fixed-price contract, verify licensing, document everything. Wouldn't recommend this company. 1 star (lowest allowed).

He was very thorough in his work, did exactly what I wanted. Just quality work. There was a problem, he came back and fixed it free of charge, it was their mistake.
