Chris is meticulous and professional. He was able to accommodate us last minute when another contractor backed out at the last minute because we declined unnecessary and exorbitant services. He did a fantastic job with our cabinets. The lower cabinets were so well leveled that the countertop installers were amazed at how cleanly the granite countertop went in. Just from dropping them into place you could barely feel the countertop seem. Chris put up with our frequent indecisiveness on where to put organizational devices and also did some electrical work to hide some of our outlets for undercabinet lighting. We are very happy with our kitchen and will definitely reach out to Chris for future jobs.

This is the second time that we used Rochester Renovation, First time was an installation of custom bar/storage cabinet unit. Second time was to reverse the swing of two doors. Both times, the work was excellent. I would highly recommend Rochester Renovation/Chris Walker for any of your Renovation needs, Chris is detail oriented and his work is meticulous.

Rochester Renovations installed a cabinet system in our new condo. We needed additional storage space. We had a long entry hallway which seemed like wasted space. Rochester Renovation was able to translate our idea of a entertainment (bar) area and storage to make for an extremely attractive and functional custom piece. Chris Walker is a talented crafts-person. He was always professional in our dealings with him. He is a stickler for detail and held his work to high standards. He was extremely responsive and was respectful and careful of our home and surroundings. I would recommend Rochester Renovation for any renovation projects that you may have. Our project was a kitchen renovation that included removing a wall. There were many surprises uncovered during the remodel. Chris from Rochester Renovation consistently was in touch to define the problem and offer solutions, deferring to my judgment; whether insufficient insulation by prior owners to placement of pendent lights. Chris was meticulous about keeping the construction contained in one area. Absolutely LOVE the results.

Chris was prompt & work is wonderful. Cleaned up all messes and kept tools & equipment out of traffic areas. Very good at job.

I was very pleased with the work done by Chris at Rochester Renovation. His designer, Bev did a great job coming up with a beautiful plan with very nice materials, while being mindful of my budget. Quotes from other companies for the same cost had inferior cabinets, counters, and flooring. During the actual remodel, it was clear to me that Chris was very experienced and knew what he was doing. A few unexpected things came up during the demo (problems with the existing soffits and floor), but Chris was able to resolve them and he communicated with me very well throughout the whole process. He is an excellent carpenter. I especially appreciated his attention to detail. I knew that every little thing was going to come out looking wonderfully -- and it did! I found Chris very easy to work with and enjoyed his company. I would highly recommend him, especially if you are a perfectionist and want someone who will make sure the job gets done right.

Chris from Rochester Renovation did an impeccable job. I am very picky and expected excellent work. He did not disappoint. There wasn't a single scuff on my walls from the removal of the old trim, flooring and toilets. He was very tidy and clean. The carpets were protected with cloths and his work areas were free of garbage. He took all of the old materials with him along with the scrap produced by the job unless there was something I wanted to keep. The tile was installed with precision and care. If he wasn't sure how I'd like something done, he asked. I felt he respected my opinion and included me in the process to ensure my satisfaction. He honored my opinion on the pattern of the tile layout, the grout color, the grout line width, caulk color, trim, etc. I was as included as I wanted to be. His trim work was also impeccable. The toilets were replaced with care and, frankly, it didn't look like he'd ever been there once he was finished...other than leaving me with beautiful floors! I felt comfortable leaving him in my home when we weren't able to be there. As a bonus, he didn't smoke. The tile looks incredible. I chose an odd size (6x24) and he handled it with no issue whatsoever. I have had many compliments on his work. I highly recommend Chris and would hire him again.

It went absolutely fabulous!!!! Chris is a fantastic contractor. He did ALL of the work himself and is a perfectionist! We are totally pleased with our new bathroom in the basement. We went with a rustic theme, had a new idea off of a picture and Chris totally went with it and exceeded our expectations. He not once cut corners, his work is top notch and I would recommend him to any and everyone. This is only the start of our renovations and we plan on using Chris for our next project!! We are super excited! Description of work: Chris renovated our basement half bathroom to add a shower. He did all of the re-configuring of plumbing, to include jack-hammering the 3 inch raised floor, drywall, the tile work on the floor and shower, installed shower door, all electrical work, installation of corrugated aluminum wainscoting, made/installed shelves, installed toilet and vanity (to included re-working of plumbing of vanity fixture that we made out of a dresser).

We had Rochester Renovation do many projects in our home, one after the other. The list includes the master bathroom, common area bathroom, basement shower, a finished laundry area, finishing a room in the basement, a drop ceiling in the laundry and finished room area, replacing paneling and slate flooring in a split level stairwell with drywall and tile flooring and replacing recessed flourescent lighting, in a workout room, with recessed lights and repairing the drywall ceiling where the flourescent lights used to be. An exterior door, in the workout room, was enlarged and a window was added where ther hadn't been one before. A window was also added to the basement bathroom where there hadn't been one before. One window in the master bathroom and two windows in the finished basement room were enlarged. Headers had to be installed for all but the finished basement windows. The craftsmanship and attention to detail is impressive and we were very pleased with the work.

Installed 4 new doors + trim and sealing. House is very old so many complications arose. Fantastic work at a fair price. Excellent craftsmanship. Very professional. Will hire again! Install of An Acoustic Tile Ceiling Demolished old ceiling, reinforced joists, installed new ceiling, ran new electrical, lighting and trim. Excellent craftsmanship. Very professional.
