Veteran-owned Rock N Top provides excavation and sitework services throughout Baldwinsville, Syracuse and Central New York. Services include new and replacement septic system installation, drainage systems, grading and site restoration, topsoil installation, lawn preparation, conventional seed and fertilizer, sod installation, trenching, compacted stone shed and building pads, and gravel driveways. Land-clearing services are limited to brush hogging and overgrowth cutting. Septic pumping, routine lawn maintenance, tree removal, hardscaping and concrete work are not offered. I had Brandon put in over 250' of French Drain around my house. French Drain Install: Prior to the drain, my yard would remain soggy and with puddles - it would take 3 dry days before I could walk or cut the grass. Once the drain was put in - No Puddles! And it drains so well that if the blades of grass has dried after raining, I can cut the grass within 3 hours!! Outstanding, professional and prompt service. I especially liked how he "end capped" the drain pipe to surface level. Highly recommend.

Commercial Sod Installation
Complete lot clear and grading, sod installation and decorative stone and large rock install on new build home. Drainage easement restored with grading and rock, worked in conjunction with sprinkler system install. Very happy with the work done, both quality of work and timeline for completion, Brando was very good to work with, listened to our concerns and ideas and offered ideas of his own. I would highly recommend using Rock n Top for any site work, sod installation and stone work in your landscaping project. Pricing was fair and transparent, and the work was of high quality.

I had a retaining wall collapse in October 2018 and contacted Brandon through the Home Advisor website. Brandon came right out the next day and evaluated my situation. There were two options and Brandon did not pressure me as to which option to take. He answered all my questions, explained all the pros and cons and let me make the decision with no pressure from him. I was completely satisfied with Brandon's work ethics and his respect for me, a senior citizen. I also like the fact that this is a Vet owned business. I would definitely use Brandon and Rock N Top Landscaping again.

Brandon is very knowledgeable at what he does, graded and leveled me yard within hours...my neighbors even commented on how fast he worked, he really knows his job. Grass is down, trees that I've been waiting to plant are going in. Great work, great guy!! Highly recommend him for any grading or landscaping jobs!

Brandon came back a couple of times to recheck the grading and grass seed since the slope of our lawn is not ideal in heavy rain. He reassured us that he would fix anything that might go wrong (nothing did though). We were extremely satisfied with the quality of work and follow up customer service.
