We contracted with Rock Solid for a 2-tiered retaining wall with steps and mulch. The design phase went great. Install was delayed several weeks, no big deal, summer is busy. The job started and the lower wall was 2in higher on one side of the steps than the other. They tore it down, re-aligned, and rebuilt. There was a flat area between 2 walls for a future patio. The 2nd wall was started, and my husband mentioned twice that the 2nd wall was too high. Jason told us it was fine, he has been doing this for 20yrs. More than half the wall was built, we asked for a manager consult, all work stopped. The 2nd wall was approximately seven inches too high according to the design plan. So another wall had to be ripped out and reset. They were frustrated, we were frustrated. The mulch was too thin (Jason said this late in the season, cedar is hard to find). It was obvious they were rushing through as the next client was waiting. The end result was just okay: several stones are marred during to resetting several times and things are not actually level for the future patio, but we will cross that bridge in phase 2 of our project. In any event, Rock Solid tried hard, but it was not worth the price for the frustration.

We contacted Rock Solid very late last fall and chose to get the work performed in early sprig 2020. The crew was professional and answered all our questions. We did not know how much we would like an irrigation system, and couldn't be happier with the result. Highly recommend Rock Solid for irrigation.

They did a great job on the installation but over estimated and we were not compensated. Landscaping looks great.

Everything was on schedule and went very smooth

It was the hottest day of the year and they could have cut corners and I wouldn't blame them but they didn't right down to explaining how everything worked and how to adjust different things if needed

Work was done in a timely manner. One retaining wall is not as level as it could be. Some work was redone to suite our preferences, without complaint.

Followed up with requests for quote immediately. Once I decided to make a purchase of 5 cubic yards of black dirt, it was delivered within one hour. The driver was courteous and placed material exactly where I waned it dropped. The material was exactly the quality of what I was hopping for. Great Value. I'll will use them again for my landscaping needs.

My wife and I found working with Jeff Davis at Rock Solid Landscaping to be a very pleasant and efficient process. After consulting with us on our wants, Jeff provided us with a landscaping plan drawn to scale showing the location of pavers and a recommended selection of plants to be installed. We made a few changes to the plan and then the Rock Solid crew installed it. The crew foreman did a great job of keeping us informed as the installation work progressed.

Good people to work with. Gave me a price on the delivered dirt, and there were no 'extra' charges. Paul, the driver, was there when he said he was going to be there, and he dropped the dirt where/how I wanted him to.
