Dont ever do business with this businesses

They were originally very polite and timely. He did not successfully repair or appliance so we called him back for him to come back, and he never showed up, no call no show. Now they won't even return our calls and we have a dryer that does not work.

This is a story of a Dr. Jekll (Bad) and Mr. Hyde (Good) company. Here's an exact recount of what happened. (Aug 3) My washer stopped working on a Saturday. I put in a request on Home Advisor and was called by Rocket Repair in minutes. They said they could have someone out that day. And they did. Fantastic! The repair man, Ryan, figured out that I needed a new control board. He gave me pricing, said he could get it here in a couple of days, and I told him I would consider it, but I wanted to also look into buying a new one. Ryan was very helpful, pleasant, and seemed very interested in helping get to a resolution. I paid $85 for the service call and was told that it would apply to my future repair and part, if that is something we decided to do. Later that night, my wife and I decided to do the repair. So, we texted Rocket Appliance stating that we wanted to move forward. The text reply was "Okay I'll get it ordered". (Aug 7) 7:59 am: Me: "Status?" 7:52 pm: Me: "Hi. I haven't heard back from you. Ryan told me to expect the part to arrive today." 7:59 pm: RAR: "I'll look into the status in the morning" 8:03 pm: Me: "Thank you" (Aug 8) 7:47 pm: Me: Called. Got no answer. 7:48 pm: Me: "I still haven't heard back. Just tried to call. Something doesn't feel right about this. Please advise." 7:50 pm: RAR: "I had Tom reach out the part will be delivered tomorrow once it's in will call to make an appointment we might be able to get out same day if it comes in early enough no one picked up the phone because hours are 8-5" 7:51 pm: Me: "Ok. Thanks for the update." 7:51 pm: RAR: "No problem" (Aug 10) I never heard back from Rocket Appliance Repair as promised and got tired of initiating to try and get service. I felt I was getting the run-around so I went to repairclinic.com and ordered the control board and paid for overnight shipping. (Aug 14) The part finally arrived and I installed it in about 30 minutes myself after watching an online video. Still never heard from Rocket Appliance Repair. Overall, I will not select this company in the future. The customer service is absolutely awful. I initiated every conversation and felt I had to beg. Business must be really good because they don't seem very interested in anything more than the diagnosis visit. Looking back, I'm not sure they ever intended on returning to complete the repair. I've read other reviews from Rocket Appliance Repair and from a previous company that appears to be associated with this owner and the lack of follow-through seems to be a chronic issue. If you call them out, DON'T PAY FOR THE PART UNTIL THEY COMPLETE THE REPAIR. I've read reviews from others who have paid the price, so to speak. Oh well. 11 days without a washer sucked, but I just found out that I'm pretty handy.

The Rocket Repair person was honest about the cause of my problem. He didn';t think it was a bering problem, but could be a problem with either the inside or outside drium. He didn't recommend that we pull out the drums as it would have been cost prohibitive. He recommend that we try cleaning the drums first. If that didn't resolve the problem to purchase new equipment. I do wish the cost of looking at it not be as high as itt was 85.o0. I can understand that fee if he was going to include that fee when repairing the machine. Since he did have a repair to make, I wish there had been a reduced rate.

Travis is very professional, works quickly and effectively and is an all-around great guy. Ryan is just as good. Works quickly, is very careful, and is a very knowledgeable technician.
