Marcus was prompt, efficient and explained what needed to be done to install ceiling fan and new controls.

Marcus added a dedicated circuit which was required for a new cooktop. He was able to finish the job before his estimated time, even with a couple of trips to get the correct wire, etc. The job required a permit and he came back to review everything with the state inspector.

Marcus was extremely professional and explained what he was doing at every step. He took every measure to determine if the job I wanted done could be accomplished without further complications down the road. I would highly recommend Marcus for any electrical projects.

Had some trouble finding an electrician on short notice to come out and troubleshoot an issue where my kitchen and dining room ceiling lights were non-functional, after going through the usual DIY checklist of checking the circuit breaker switches and both GFCI outlet resets in the kitchen. Marcus called me after I had set up an appointment (what I could get anyway) several weeks out, and agreed to have him come out first thing in the morning of Monday the 3rd, a couple weeks earlier than I had been able to find elsewhere. Marcus showed up precisely on time, and was able to find the issue (a loose wire in an electrical outlet in the living room that I had replaced myself about 3-4 years ago, when I updated all the outlets and light switches in my house) within about 20 minutes and fixed the wiring on that. Since I had him for an hour, I had him also replace the 30 year old GFCI outlets in the kitchen with two new ones that I had bought at Lowe's a few days prior, just in case the issue was the GFCI switches, and so that all the switches and outlets matched stylistically. His hour/troubleshooting rate was consistent with other vendors in the area, and for what he did within the hour was quite reasonable. Marcus is a really nice and knowledgeable guy, and I'd definitely have him back for future electric work!

Rocket Electric showed up on time, completed the work in a timely fashion and cleaned up afterwards. It’s hard to find a good electrician.Rocket Electric is now my goto when I need electrical work done.

Marcus contacted me almost immediately after I submitted my request. He was professional, friendly, and helpful. He explained a few new things to my husband. We were trying to upgrade a 3-way switch to a smart switch. My husband knows basic electrical, but the wire colors were not what they are in a typical situation, so we wanted to know what the situation was. Marcus was able to read through the instructions for the switch (after he tried a couple things) and figure out what the deal was. He was even able to arrive earlier than anticipated (though he hadn’t actually reached me...he had left a message...I had inadvertently left my phone on quiet, so I didn’t realize he had called until he was here and I checked my phone), it still worked out. We had requested bids from five companies (including his); he was the only one who responded. Customer service nowadays is getting pretty sad.
