Rockn-It Masonry

I would not recommend this company or their employees to work on your project. I got estimates from them and approved the work. Once they started they told me they couldn?t do what the estimate said and needed to do extra work for extra money. I trusted them and approved it. I then caught them lying by saying they had torn a chimney down and restacked it but all they did was put new mortar over the old mortar to make it look like they had done the job. They also only put new mortar over old mortar on one whole wall even though the estimate said they would ?grind entire home and remortar?. Even have text messages from the owner stating that?s what they would do. Only after caught lying they did fix the chimney correct, but told me they misworded the estimate and text message and didn?t mean ?grind entire house? so they refused to fix that wall even though they ground the other walls completely. They also refused to refund any money since they refused to do the job as described.

Bruce, (owner) estimated our job was very timily, pleasant, professional, a great cominicator, and thorough. I could tell he was experienced. It was a bit pricy, but after talking things through, i was good. A bit worried as normal with all sub contractors. His skilled Mason, Brett also came out to look at my job, and thats when i knew i had a PRO. Likable, experienced and gave me some fabulous insights on my successful outdoor kitchenette, fireplace & pizza oven project. We went for it, not a small job for me, but it was a great experience, very well done, and in fact i was "the hold up" on parts of the job dealing with gas & electrical contractors. The job was awesome. And they did what they said, timily, clean, skilled, guided me on my griddle and pizza oven to buy, :) and even seasoned my Blackstone Grill. I then had them "Rick" our pool house and hottub. :) My project gets raving reviews by my guests. Thank you Bruce, Brett & Adriano. SteVan Gates, Farmington Utah.

Do not hire Rockn-it Masonry. Bruce does not know what he is doing and his crew has not been taught. Everything he did to tear down the rock and attempt to prepare my home for new rock work was a disaster. He does not even understand the need to follow code or obtain a building permit from the city. When the city inspector came to inspect the current work he red-tagged the project. We immediately fired him after numerous previous problems with his work. He refused to pay us back over $6000 in work that needs to be redone or that was never performed. Do not be fooled by his website. His work is terrible and wont pass any inspection.
