The field personnel in Mitigation and Contents preservation were excellent. A shout out for exceptional service by David and Ashley, who single-handedly moved furniture and boxes back into our basement. The move-out team was great also. They were prompt to respond and those working in our house were extremely pleasant.

We had a large 40x80 pole barn/ workshop built by them in 2015. We are now paying another company 16,000 to put on new siding. The metal roof has leaked, the water has come into the windows, the walls were wet inside and out and down the sides. There has been water coming in from the bottom and in the windows. The insulation in the wall gets wet to where the plastic has to be cut so air will get in to dry it out. The paint in the office area has run down the walls from being wet. The photos and certificates on the walls were destroyed from water. We had called, left messages were told that they would be out in a week, would get back to us, set up an appointment.....I would expect wood siding to last more than 5 years. They put up cheap crap and did not use the materials as requested. We asked why they cut the roof to the edge of the building that allows the water to get in with no response. I do not recommend them for any project. They do not guarantee their work and will not try to work with you when things fail.

Not at all timely took over 7 months to complete project, multiple delays, very little communication, tried to say project complete but soffits were not done.

"Sorry Jan you feel this way unfortunately we took your job when vinyl siding was in high demand during 2 very bad hail storms which hurt our delivery and schedule timelines . The scope and estimate was clear and actually had exact sf of siding trim and moldings estimated for installation. We did offer to add soffits and fascia to the quote that were priced or quoted. We will use this as a training for that PM to handle differently in future with easier to read overview if inclusions"

We had the work scope agreed on. The work started out pretty slow with one or two days a week. After a month they really pushed hard. After they got the money. No show and don t answer calls or emails. Will not recommend to anyone.

"We do not like these results either. 1st of all I was asked to take over a project and do banking of existing budget and turn over bank contracts in 1 day or loan would not close. 2nd it takes 2-3 weeks for structural plans and permits . impossible to start instantly yet we did demo within 1 week. This was not a custom home build this was a complete home remodel. After scope a huge list added and expected to be for same price even tho a very detailed contract.. Place came out beautiful and 100% in 3 months start to finish I'm sorry that's a great timeline. I would not recommend people working for customers that don't like to pay for added work or realize realistic time lines its hard for us as well. I absolutely know the value was in the changes cause I know the purchase cost and the sell price of home after work"

Very poor customer service and work ethics. Although the finished project is nice, I would not recommend this company as there are so many others to choose from. Do your research!

"These people asked for a bid for flooring in there home replaced we did the job ontime, quality and 100% completed. The dispute these people wanted to renegotiate price after work 100% completed . We bought 10 % overage and was returning overage and they decided to not py last $400 even tho overage was bought by me only to insure matched batch if floor and to not be short materials. Standard practice this wasnt a time and material job was a set quote they only paid for floors completed not 4 boxes I needed yo return. Lance"

Major Renovation Multiple Room Service
I purchased a 3000 sqft home on 7/30/15 & planned to spend 80K on major renovations. I went into this with very little knowledge of construction. As the homeowner ultimately responsible, I made several mistakes throughout the process. I hired Rocky Mountain Restoration & Construction because Lance, the general contractor/owner, had an eye for design. He was the only contractor I met with who could hear my ideas & build on them to fit them within the bigger picture. 8/8/15, I signed a contract & wrote RMRC the first check. The contract was not very specific & did not have a projected date of completion. I verbally discussed with Lance that I would like this done within a few months & he assured me that that was possible. 6 months later, the project is still not complete. Lance attempted to do major work on my house without pulling permits. While discussing the scope of work, Lance asked if I wanted to pull permits for this remodelâI said yes. Oct 2015 I looked up our house on Pikes Peak Regional Building Department's website & realized that no permits had been pulled. At this point, drywall was being installed: covering up electrical, plumbing, & HVAC changes. I spoke with Regional & they explained to me the serious consequences for not pulling permits. I stopped all work & confronted Lance. Lance said he would pull permits right away & explained he was trying to save me money. Permits were pulled 10/8/15. 2 of the 4 permits did not pass initial inspection. I.e. my HVAC system had several holes in the clear, flexible plastic liner that was installed as ductwork. The inspector required that the plastic liner be replaced & either an insulation sleeve be installed over plastic or be replaced with metal ductwork. The windows arrived 4 months after I was told they were ordered. Lance explained that the window supplier messed up the order 5 different times. When I tried to fact check this, Lance would not tell me the name of his supplier. I figured out the supplier on my own: Lowes. Loweâs & Milguard's records showed the windows were ordered 6 weeks before they arrived - one week behind their normal turnaround rate. The delayed window ordered put the kitchen installation very behind schedule because the granite counter needed to be installed onto the bay window. Once the windows arrived, they were all the wrong size: 4 windows were too big; 1 was framed-in smaller than the original opening; 1 window was broken in transit to our house. Lance attempted to install a window with a voided warrantee. He had a glass company make a pane of glass to replace the broken pane. I refused to accept the window - if anyone other than Milguard replaces the window glass, the warrantee is voided. A discrepancy between Lance's story & Lowe's records happened again when I was told there was a delay with the baseboard order. When I called Lowe's: they did not have a baseboard order under Lance's name & I was able to pick up all baseboa

"These people are unbelievable and started all kinds of work and demo in there home damaged bearing point nd of course wanted everything cheap. We did not feel comfortable at any phase of this project and felt like they totally down grded this home. And too much involvement by. home owner with zero experience of working on homes. 120 customers this year 2nd worse of entire year. I only wish we could rate home owners on line."

I hired this company at mid October and the project has not yet begun. There's not good communication with the company unless we contact them. When we do talk to them there always seem to be some type of delay. This project could have been finished by now.

Responded within minutes to initial call and within hours were here to make estimate to prep and paint my deck of about 150 feet.. We needed a lot of prep work which was done with great care and it looks better than it did when the deck was rebuilt about 15 years ago! I would recommend to my dearest friends. Very easy to work with and they do outstanding work.

They do not install poured concrete retaining walls but recommended me to a company they subcontract with, Peak Structural who gave me the Structural Engineering report and further recommended Kodiak Concrete. I was impressed with all 3 companies Customer Service as they were responsive, honest and demonstrated professionalism. Each could have charged me overhead, yet did not. They got me to the actual company (Kodiak) that will do the work.

I called Rocky Mountain to come out and do an estimate along with 4 other construction companies. They beat out everyone else by 500$. WE had a wall removed, and door reframed and drywalled, and the painted the entire interior of our house. They did such a good job I was AMAZED. We also had no problems leaving them in our house all day while we were at work, completed trusted them and their crew. Chad was Awesome, he would call me everyday and let us know what they had done, and they would be doing the next day. Also came after to do a final walk through even though the crews also did that. Also Crew accidentally broke an outlet plate, Chad came by to personally replace it. Service was above and beyond and we will be using them for every remodel we do!!!! Thanks Chad!!!

Reasonable pricing. I met with Lance and shortly there after they began working. I was in a time crunch with family coming to visit for the holidays and Lance assured me they would be done. They worked quickly and efficiently to get the project done well before the agreed timeline! Work crews were always on time and cleaned up after themselves; also very respectful of our home! Lance made sure all of our wants and needs were met as well as offered great ideas and options for our remodel that look amazing! I looked into a few different companies with all being very high priced and unable to meet my timeline. I would recommend this Company to anyone needing work done! If ANYTHING, at least include them in your search and have a face to face meeting with Lance. You will walk away knowing that you can rely on great work at a very reasonable price as well as in a timely manner.
