Didn't get done properly the first time and had to pay extra upon coming back to fix it.

"The second repair had nothing to do with rekeying the lock which was the original reason you asked me to visit. The door was misaligned and the deadbolt would not throw due to insulation around the door jamb. I showed you the insulation that caused the alignment issue. Making a key for a lock was the original reason I was hired. If i had spotted the alignment issue my first visit i still would have charged to repair it as its a separate issue. I didnt charge a trip fee my 2nd visit also. I appreciate your input, hopefully this reply clears up any misunderstanding."

We reached out to John on a Sunday inquiring about installing a patio door key lock not expecting to hear back from him right away. However, we heard back the same day and scheduled him to come out the next day on Monday. We unfortunately purchased the wrong lock. However, John worked diligently to customized the parts to get the lock to work. We were very pleased with his professionalism and diligence to get the work done properly. We would highly recommend him for anyone needing a great locksmith and will more than likely use his services again.

I described my project to John (change two existing deadbolts and install three new deadbolts), he asked a few questions, and gave me a very reasonable price. He arrived on time, was very friendly, explained what he was doing, and worked steadily until the job was complete. He was very professional and answered my questions as the job progressed. He ran into some difficulty with one of my existing deadbolts but did not complain and did not charge me extra for his trouble. I highly recommend John. His prices are fair, he is a skilled professional, and he is easy to work with.

He even offered times when he could offer me a discount on the price based on where his other appointments were (I couldn't take advantage of it based on my schedule, but it was nice to know nonetheless). I am very happy with my new locks and they turn smoothly and intuitively in the right direction. 4 free keys was nice, too.

Rocky Mountain Security was wonderful. I contacted them online for a non-emergency job and John called me first thing in the morning and said he had a job nearby and could pop over and rekey all my locks that very day! He suggested a more economical way and even helped me get my mailbox open with a sticky key and made me a new one. Very helpful, kind, efficient and great value for money. I'd recommend them anytime.
