We had Rocky Deterts install a cedar privacy fence at our home on April 29, 2008. We have had complaints from neighbors regarding the unsightly construction. The supporting structure is not symmetrical and it does not follow straight lines. He did not follow protocol and pull necessary building permits. We could not in good conscience recommend Rocky"s workmanship to neighbors, family or friends. Our fence does not look like it was erected by a professional, the workmanship is very amateurish and substandard. Our overall experience with this vendor was less than desirable. Now we have the worst looking fence in the neighborhood.

We had agreed on a series of repairs to my fence that included replacing some weathered and damaged boards. I was not home when he completed the work or I would not have paid him since he did not complete the work as agreed. My wife paid him since I was at work. Instead of replacing them, he simply nailed new boards on top of the old. He also pulled up some connecting garden edging in order to access the posts he replaced and did not replace the edging. Last, he also convinced my wife to pay him additional money to remove the old posts from my yard. He then failed to remove them all after we paid him. Watch him very carefully and inspect his work before you pay him.

Rocky Mountian was great! They came out to do an estimate the same day we put in the request, and the bid was lower than any other company we had tried to work with. I would recommend this company to other businesses.

They did an awesome job. They knew what needed to be done and completed it in one day. They are wonderful.
