The cost estimate was fair and did not exceed. The crew showed up as scheduled, did a profesional job with expertise, cleanup, stump grinding and job completion walk for approval. I recommend Rod's Tree Service.

Rod's tree service did a great job with our tree and stump removal. They were fast, clean and respectful. Early on when a time miscommunication took place, they quickly fixed the error. We would definitely recommend them. Great price and outstanding work.

Overall, they did a great job. Only problem was lack of communication about finishing the job and how they wanted to be paid. The Saturday morning that I put my request in for a quote, the owner called me within 5 minutes of placing the request and he arrived to look at the tree within 20 minutes. They scheduled to come the following Monday to take down the tree and did so, but they did not remove the stump as requested. I called for 4 straight days to find out the plan and did not get a return phone call unitl the next Friday morning. They completed the job that day.

Made all appointments on time trimmed/cut back all 7 trees for a reasonable fee-- cleaned up tree trash before they left very satisfied would hire them again.

Rod came in quickly and got the work done the next day. There was a little disconnect because everything happened so quickly, but the tree is gone and the wood was left (at my request) in workable piles so I will have plenty of firewood for next season.

Was not too fast to start the job, but when they started in went well. Cleanup 8 out of 10. Cutting wood, again about 8 - had a number of pieces that were too long to be usable. Chipping stump about a 9. Some large surface roots still attached to stump grind. I do not recommend any service to my friends and they do not ask for it. Most of them are dead.

Price was fair and 5 trees were removed quickly. Yard was cleaned up and all trimmings were hauled away. Stump grinding took longer than anticipated but communication was clear. Their large grinder had a bad pump that had to be mailed from Italy. Once the grinder was repaired Rod himself ground the stumps and I paid him in full. Thanks!

The workers from Rod's tree service arrived on the record heat day of 108 and they all did an excellent job despite the extreme heat. We were pleased with the work done.

Rod's tree service removed some stumps, did some tree trimming for me, and removed a palm. They were able to come to the site very soon after being called (the quote was very fair as well). Four men worked together to do the job, and they appeared to be a close team. Within 15 minutes after arriving, the first stump was already gone. They did a great job at listening to my on-site requests. I was amazed at how they switched tasks between the chipper, grinder, chain saws, cleanup, etc. with almost no verbal communication - highly efficient. I would recommend them to anyone who has similar things to be done.

They were very thorough and cleaned up afterward. I would recommend them to others.

Prompt service and reasonably priced.

Very good, they came took down a tree had 3 others trimmed in a few hours. They asked me several times when trimming the trees if I wanted more taken off, etc. They came back a couple days later and ground out the stump of the downed tree. Very quick and efficient at a good price.

They did the job well and in a timely fashion, but the customer service was poor.

The bid was more than reasonable, the workers showed up on time (early actually) and the job was done as I had wanted.

He is very good, does what he says he will do. He is there on time, does the work, cleans up. Just as it is scheduled, takes pride in his work.
