I had an excellent and positve experience with the removal of a 60 year old Pin Oak. Sufficent manpower and equipment was provided and the agreed upon appointment was kept. The tree was removed, stump was ground, grounds were cleaned and there were no signs of a tree having been there. Owner Rod, is professional, straight up, salt of the earth, with excellent people skills. His crew led by tree climber Minor, did an excellent job trimming my trees of all dead branches, clean up was excellent. I would highly recommend this company.

Rod's crew did a terrific job removing 13 Ash trees, trimming trees around my home and grinding several stumps all in one day. Very professional job and highly recommend their services.

A year ago we met with owner after talking with other contractors and then being referred to him by a neighbor. I assessed he knew what he was talking about. Claimed he was studying to become an arborist, that they would take care the cranes and heavy equipment would not destroy our paved asphalt driveway or lawn, there would be a neat clean finish and leave us a pile of wood chips for mulch. All of which was true and the project orderly and detailed without his onsite intervention. Even did an additional request to spread the wood chips for a nominal fee. PS: I am in construction management and am writing this review because he is on my mind to do additional work.

Definitely recommend!!! We had a bit of difficulty connecting for the quote, but they always called to let me know. On the scheduled day though they showed up at the expected time. A little bit on the pricey side, but well worth it. They came in and got 2 large trees that were situated behind the house in a very awkward place and they made it seem so easy. And my yard looked better than when they started, they did such a thorough job cleaning up.

Others said this business was expensive, but I think the price for what I requested was fair.

Rod and his team were professional, fast, and meticulous in their work. I had a number of arborists come our for estimates, but Rod was the fairest price and the most honest. When his crew came, they were very friendly and communicative. We even had a branch fall (on a tree they weren’t working on at the time) and their main office called me before the foreman even got out of the bucket. We needed our power lines reattached to the house, and Rod’s Tree Service had an electrician out to fix the work within the hour. I have recommended this business for many of my friends, and can’t say enough good things about them.

We did not get a second estimate and we think he was a little high.

You get what you pay for... Removed seven 100+' Ash trees and performed stump removal. The good: second to lowest bid. The bad: they started off the job in accordance with the described methods for protecting the lawn, but as the day progressed shortcuts became more and more prevalent resulting in a gouged up lawn. Pieces that I requested left on my propertyfor firewood were not sawed all the way through. Stumps we not initially ground down below grade, but this was fixed a few days later. Cleanup left something to be desired. The ugly: truck was leaking hydraulic oil on the street, which the crew walked through and tracked on my new driveway. Text messages to owner for cleaning the mess went unanswered since he had my money. Had to spend additional money and time to get this done. Would pay a little more for better service if I had to do it over again.

Great job as and when promised. Left yard clean of debris.

They were the most expensive of all the contractors however, they were the most reliable. They worked professionally and expeditiously.

Took down the tree the same day I called. Did a great job!
