I chose to work in this industry because My dad started working on tile since he was 19 years old. He has over 30 years of experience. I've been working and seen tile since i was a kid. it was only natural to keep going. We enjoy working together with our whole family..

We started in this industry in 2002.

Project: Install Ceramic or Porcelain Tile
They did a great job at replacing a leaking ceramic tile shower stall base.

I got a lot of quotes for the bathroom. They always tell you to pick one in the middle. Not the lowest or the highest. I chose the lowest. They seemed like they were a no nonsense affordable company. The reviews on homeadvisor were almost all positive. The bathroom looks way better then before, but the attention to detail is really lacking. The floors are gray with gray grout. The problem is my Mom thought the grout was white. They did the tile and grouted and it looked great, but they neglected to cover the flooring while sanding the new walls. So, the grout is white and gray or graywhite depending where you look. Looks pretty bad. The grout used for the tile in the shower is already staining less than a year later. I'm not sure they used grout for a shower or took the time to properly seal it. The installers also were sloppy with painting around the metal trim at the end of the tiles for the shower. They also didn't ask where I wanted the tile to end, flush with the tub or a few inches past the tub. Not enough communication. I really had to stay on top of them to make sure things were coming out right. The shampoo niche had to be totally redone because the metal trim was not cut at a 45 degree angle and looked bad. They did fix things as I asked, but i'm stuck with the bad floor grout and stained white shower grout. Be careful hiring Roel Ceramics. Great on the wallet, but a few issues maybe reveal themselves once the job is complete.

They were on time for the estimate and all days of the project. There was no interruption in work until the project was complete. They were courteous and clean. The work quality was very good and fair for the price.

From our first meeting, it was clear that Ruben was personable and professional. He listened to our issues, participated in the design phase, and started the renovation as promised. After removing the master bath ceiling it became clear that an upstairs toilet was leaking and the subfloor needed to be replaced. We decided to go ahead with the renovation of that room as well. Ruben's team did a great job, especially on solving problems during the reconstruction phase, and finished the work about as fast as could be expected, given the added bathroom. While the estimates provided described most of the work components, I would have preferred a more detailed breakdown of labor and materials. Overall we are very pleased with the quality of construction and tile work. We would definitely hire them again!

Project: Install Ceramic or Porcelain Tile
Roel Ceramic did an excellent job to install porcelain tiles to our foyer, powder room, mud room and basement entrance. They are professional from beginning to end. We chose the company due to their price and flexibility. Ruben gave us a quote on work/material combination in a way we preferred, which includes all material except tiles. Originally we were considering foyer, powder room and kitchen. When we changed to current setting, he did not insist to include the kitchen. The communications are also very professional. They let us know the timeline and how things progressed. They asked our opinions about layout, transition materials before purchase and address issues such as cleaning up very well. Overall, we are very satisfied and would like to recommend the company to others.
