Dave and his partner did our deck exactly like we wanted it. Couldnâ t ask for a better job. Very pleased. Weâ ve already recommended him to others.

Make sure that your county or city requires a permit and that you see a permit and get a copy of it from him. Make sure he is following the city guidelines because if he does not get a permit you will be in trouble in the future.

Dave and Dan listened to what I wanted and exceeded my expectations. They went above and beyond and now I am hiring them for another project!

The work was completed timely and for a very fair price.

Replaced cedar decking with composite material. Nice people, but the installation was incomplete and very poor quality: incorrect boards were used, some boards were not secured, screws not seated properly, screw holes without screws, chipped boards, trim and finishes were not proper material where installed - missing a lot of trim. Now having to pay someone else to repair the work.

Initial work was ok but final construction of the deck was terrible. The rails (20 feet in the air) are separating from the posts making the deck unsafe; paint is peeling; and screen doors are sagging. Not a professional job at all. Expensive for the final product.

I asked twice to have screw put in the deck I got nails or should I say nailed

We are very pleased with the deck Dave Roe built for us. He was efficient, professional, dependable, and affordable! We already had him price out our next project, so we are definitely planning on using him again!

Unfortunately, our project did not go well. We met Dave and were impressed with him - the time he took to meet with us and the confidence he had in doing our back deck stairs and gate was very reassuring. We hired him and after a short wait he came to do the stairs along with another man we had not met. It seemed like the other man was the one who knew how to build stairs and that Dave was just there helping. We didn t worry though and had confidence it would be ok. We were definitely wrong and due to the time of the year (cold and rainy) we didn t take much time to fully inspect the work performed. I completely take responsibility in this but once we did see the issues with the gate (they just used an old section of our deck which was way too heavy and now constantly is falling off) Dave came back over and knew it wasn t right but never really fixed it. He always acted like he was too busy to come back and deal with us. Needless to say, the gate was only the first TINY problem in comparison to overall terrible quality we received. The wood is split on almost every board, nails are barely in the wood at all (he used finishing nails for structural pieces) there are huge gaps where the wood meets wood, the stairs are crooked and the worst of it is that the railings are so shaky that I can move them drastically with one hand. The stairs look terrible and they are borderline dangerous (I like to see the good and am hoping they really are ok for my child to climb). We voiced our concerns, sent videos, texts and calls to Dave but at this point he is not returning anything. We are taking it as a huge $3k loss and will have to get them redone. Hoping we can salvage the posts in the ground because I think that part may have been done correctly. So sad about all this because we went with Dave believing he was a good guy. My guess is that stairs just aren t his thing!

Dave and the guys were professional and prompt. They even took some of my money saving ideas, quickly implemented them and adjusted the bill accordingly. These are good folks.

Roe s did two projects: Tile in two small bathrooms and replacing carpet with new hardwood flooring in the Living Room and hallway. Both jobs were completed expeditiously and represented great value - excellent quality for a most reasonable price. They were very easy to work with and I will hire them again for other work.

Very professional and quality work

Responded quickly with estimate and once hired did a great job. Promptly repaired a defect that was noticed after job was done. Would definitely hire again for another project.

Very well thought out, planed and executed perfectly, cleaned up after he finished. It was professionally done from start to finish.
