This company is amazing. They are on-time, which is rare in this type of business. The owner is on the job making sure everything goes smoothly. They have great communication before and after work is completed. They actually care about the work they do and want it to be exactly what the customer wants it to be and it shows. Their work means something to them. They take pride in it and work with you to resolve any questions that may come up before, during and after it is completed. These are just good people who care about what they do. They are excellent craftsmen, making sure conditions are exactly right before pouring because temperature and weather conditions matter. I would definitely trust them over any fly by night company because they have been in business for over 25 years and it shows. Time and experience matter greatly! AWESOME!!!!

RBC completed an excellent job on time. The finished results were better than we expected! I highly recommend this company. Until I noticed water leaking from underneath the newly poured concrete. Update to my review for Rogers Backhoe and Concrete (RBC). Before I awarded RBC the contract to install the driveway extension for my home, I asked for clarification of the contract scope of work (I have the email traffic). The first question I had for RBC Glen and Monty was the contract clarification on the irrigation system/scope of work. Facts: My specific question: Hi Monty I have a few questions about the job statement of works. I wanted to clarify that the following are included with this statement of work: 1.Move and modify irrigation valve boxes, piping, and sprinkler heads for the new driveway areaâ repair irrigation system damaged by excavation. Monty response: **This is our scope of work. 1. Move and modify irrigation valve boxes, piping, and sprinkler heads to provide for the new driveway area. Repair irrigation system damaged by excavation. We are raising the height and adding a city-ready traffic box for access to the irrigation valves and piping. We are capping the sprinkler heads that would be in the concrete pour. If we damage any of the irrigation pipes in our footprint, we will repair/replace.** Issue: Rogers Backhoe and Concrete damaged my property (sprinkler system waterline) during their scope of work. I informed Glen about this issue. Upon notifying Glen, he stated that he and Monty would stop by my property to identify the problem. After they assessed the damages, Glen provided me with two options to repair the damage: 1. Try to location the waterline leading into the newly poured driveway and reroute the lines to stop the leak. 2. Cut out a section of the new driveway, located the leak, repair the leak, repour the cutout section. We all agreed to option number one. First, we would try the least destructive and least expensive solution to ensure no additional damage to another section. Thus, this would be option number one by an irrigation person. I hired a professional irrigation system person to accomplish Option number one to repair/replace the damage caused by RBC. Upon ensuring that option one stopped the water from leaking underneath the new driveway extension. I formed Glen and Monty of the cost for the reimbursement for repair damages caused by their company. Glen has refused to accept responsibility or pay for the damages caused by RBC. I do not recommend this company and would give them 0 out of five stars if I could.

We couldnâ t be happier with our new patio. The price was great so we were able to have a section of our driveway replaced too. They were fast, knowledgeable and very professional. They did everything; a 10x12 patio, steps, and removed and replaced part of the driveway in only a few days. We never expected it took look this good, thank you! Good people too. .

Worked with Monte to add parking to my driveway. The entire process was straight forward and easy. He showed up when he said he would and did exactly what we agreed on.

I was pleased with the work and the results of the paved driveway. Glenn and Monty were easy to work with and answered all my questions and strove to address the drainage issues that I had with the old driveway. I was very confident with their knowledge and work ethic. At no point did I feel that the job was rushed.

Was a great experience, working with Glenn and Monte was excellent. They guided me thru the process and how the process would work and what would be done. They listened to my concerns and questions. Over half the driveway was in bad shape, only 11 years old but the builder did a poor job with the filler dirt and large globs of concrete underneath the driveway. There were a few large cracks and one slab had tilted to much there was a 3" rise. Rogers brought in better dirt and put rebar under the 1st half of the driveway to be replaced and wire mesh in the other half. All was anchored. Due to the large cracks in parts, the brick steps very on one of the large cracks and had separated from the porch. They were rebuilt and look great. I liked that the owner was there the five days they worked on the driveway and they didn't stop to do other jobs. They cleaned up the area and did a nice job overall, would hire them again and recommend them.

This company's employees are prompt, knowledgeable and very hard working. Integrity is my description of the owner and the manager. Both are men of their word and carry through. They were good at making suggestions and informing us of better, well thought-out ways of making our project a success. We have already recommended this company to others.

I had 3 estimates. The first 2 people were only interested in making money off of me. Roger's backhoe was the only one who wanted to solve my problem, and sincerely wasn't looking to take advantage of me. He is old school and cares more about doing the best possible job at the most reasonable price. I hope to use him in the future. Btw..... An estimate for a new driveway from his competitors was $24,000.... Rogers backhoe fixed my problem for $2000 ( now, thats not a new driveway, but it did fix my water leak problem/catastrophe )

As a person that worked for a structural engineering firm here in Charlotte, NC for over 30 years, I know how structural flat work should be done CORRECTLY! There is NO question that Roger's Backhoe and Concrete are the people to hire to do your flat work. My driveway had several non-typical issues, from soil quality to slope problems, to specific loaded areas on the slab. They solved these problems, and suggested additional drainage solutions, that solved all of the situations to the highest standards. From adding stone sub-base, to turn down footings, in poor soil areas (beneath loaded areas of the slab) , to underground downspout drainage, to "dowling" (tying) the new driveway slab to the existing driveway, in order to prevent lifting or sinking overtime. In addition everyone of them are artists at their craft. They WANT to create a finished product that goes beyond your expectation in structural integrity as well as appearance. From start (initial meeting at my site), to grading, to finish work, to finish (final appearance), they make sure you are happy and that it is done correct and with care. If there was ever a company on here that gives you the quality that your dollar pays for, Rogers Backhoe and Concrete, should be your choice. Simply said, every job is unique, and pouring a concrete slab over existing ground is simply not correct (there are industry standards that should be followed). Don't settle for fast, easy, and cheap... it simply won't last! Again this review is coming from a person that dealt with this type of thing, commercially for over 30 years...and was present the entire time the work was being done. If you want the best quality, best appearance, best customer service and lasting product look no further. Call Rogers Backhoe and Concrete for your project! Roger's Backhoe and Concrete were fantastic to work with! They are professional and provided the best quote out of the contractors we reviewed. We had to reschedule our patio a couple of times and they were very accommodating. Our patio looks fantastic and we will go with them again for any additional concrete work. Highly recommended.

Glen was great to work with from a sales/ customer service representative standpoint. Monty was a surgeon operating the heavy equipment. They took great care to make sure no property was damaged. I am very confident the work was performed correctly and the price was fair for the work had done.

New concrete slab they worked on cracked shortly after it dried. On his site, he claims he guarantees his work, but after the job was finished he told me he can't guarantee concrete. I will say they are polite, punctual, very personable, and maintain good communications. I just think they should back up their work. I would like to have, at least, a partial refund.
