It has been brought to my attention by my employee, who unfortunately experienced some discourteous interaction, that you sought a refund. Please note that refunds can certainly be facilitated under our warranty terms. It seems we have not lived up to your expectations, and for this, I apologize. I would like to address the concerns you raised. According to our records and standard procedure, our technician, Richard, accurately diagnosed the issue with your washing machine and fixed it accordingly. It is also our usual practice to test the functionality of the appliance after the repair work, and this was performed in your presence to confirm the machine was working correctly. Regarding the charges, the total amount you were billed includes both the parts and labor costs. I understand there was some confusion about an additional service fee for a repeat call. However, please be aware that we do offer a warranty period post-service, during which any follow-up related to the same issue is handled without an additional service fee. Given your feedback, I had proposed we send a technician to revisit the appliance at no extra cost to you instead you told us you had someone else look at the issue. therefore, we considered this issue resolved and needed no further actions. We greatly value your business and your feedback, as it provides us with an opportunity to continually improve our service standards. Firstly, regarding the fan motor (DA31-00287A) that was replaced, the price charged reflects the exact cost as listed on Sears, confirming our commitment to fair and transparent pricing. We strive to source high-quality parts at the best prices for our customers. As for the back panel (DA97-12609C), we noticed the scuff marks on it while melting the ice during the repair. We didn't charge for this because the scuffing was caused by our tools. Although superficial and didn't affect the functionality of the refrigerator, we still replaced it free of charge . The listed price from Samsung is for a new back panel, which wasn't required $198.99 I would like to reiterate that the installation of both the fan motor and backplate does not necessitate moving the fridge. Any adjustments to the refrigerator position post-repair could potentially damage the water line, especially without professional assistance. It is regrettable that there was a misunderstanding regarding the post-repair issue. Our intention was to offer help and provide a solution, not to cause any distress or inconvenience. I genuinely hope this response helps to clear up any confusion.
