Mike Roman showed up right on time on July 16, 2025 to find out why my air conditioning was not blowing enough cold air on the second floor of my house. He found the air handler to be clogged with dust and started to clean the air handler. He spent two hours on the job and reported that he needed to come back for another day's work to make some significant modifications to improve the efficiency of my air conditioning system. For the two hours of work on July 16, 2025, he presented me with a bill for $450; that was for labor only. In other words, he was charging me a rate of $225 per hour. The following day, I left him a message that I wanted him to itemize the work he proposed to do when he was to return on July 30th because I might want to scale back the work in the interest of reducing the cost. Anyway, he never presented me with an estimate. Furthermore, he was a no-show for his scheduled appointment on July 30, 2025. In my opinion, Mike Roman is unreliable and crazy expensive.

Mike was fantasric. He came at night to assess our central AC which wasn't working (we moved to the house in winter so we never used it ). I was getting a hip replacement the next day and needed the house to be cool. Mike knew what to do and got the system working. He did not want to leave me in a humid hot house during my recovery. Great guy. Highly recommended. He also does electrical work and more.. thanks, Mike!

Mike came out to replace a thermostat on an evening to accomodate my work schedule. Also hired a second time to fix gas leak at my heating unit and replace hardwired smoke detectors. Both times he was clear and communicated when he would be onsite, and was diligent on researching what issues arose in order to complete project, including ordering. Mike was kind and curteous and would gladly use him for future hvac/ electrical needs in the future.

I had an emergency with my central AC in my condo - the alarm in the drain pan had gone off late at night, and I was up every 2 hours syphoning the water out into a container to keep the pan from overflowing (it's been a longstanding issue in my building where the drain pans get clogged with sediment and can overflow and ruin wood flooring). I tried the company that services my building, and they wouldn't be able to come for several days - I called a few other places that also would have taken too long to come out. I found Mike through Angi, and he was able to come out in just a couple hours. He cleaned out both drain pans in my 2 units, removed the clog and the sediment that would likely have caused another clog down the line. He was professional, helpful, reasonable, and I would definitely call him again for any plumbing project. Glad he was available and fixed the problem so quickly!

Mike came out to help me on a Sunday when my central air stopped working in the middle of a heat wave. He explained what the problem was and the solution and was able to get it fixed within an hour. SO appreciate his willingness to come out on a Sunday. I would totally work with Roman Electric for future services. Thank you!!

I was having trouble getting a electrician in back in 2016 my downstairs was 85 degree and my upstairs was 90. The big he was fix my electricity so my circuit beaker would not be triggered. I would have damager myself trying to correct it! 7-18-2022 I have hire Roman Electric Heating and Cooling again. I had a difficult time getting a plumber I knew he had the expertise to do the job my down stairs toilet was leaking, he install a water saver toilet he put 1/4 quarter inch plywood then he also install grey sticky tiles that were needed to be replaced. He painted the wall first he put base coat then painted the walls a cheerful yellow color!

AC condenser developed a coolant leak in July. Contacted Mike Roman through Home Advisor. Mike responded super fast and was able to swing by my house and get the system up and running strong in just a few hours. Given the heat we were experiencing, the time Mike spent laboring hard in my very hot attic and the end result being a great running system, I cannot say enough great things about the work Mike does. Will definitely keep him in mind for future work.

He made good on his word and came back and fixed the problems with my thermostat and the furnace's manual button.

Mike came out during the height of a heat wave to fix and properly install smart thermostats and repair a job from a previous electrician. Would recommend Roman services and look forward to using them for future projects.

Cleaned and added freon to the system then checked the basement unit to discover that it was compromised. The whole system needed to be replaced. Unfortunately, he then charged us $350 for his time. Needless to say, we did not hire him to do the replacement.

I needed electrical work (Jason & Jordan) and garbage disposal and dishwasher replaced (Ryan). On the electrical end they ran into problems due to the age of my condo and problems installing a wireless thermostat. They did not give up and found a way to make it work.
