Ron Phillips is courteous and hard working. He performed a disability retrofit for a bathroom after meeting with me to determine exactly what was needed to get the job done. He supplied most of the materials and installed everything, including a new shower assembly, perfectly. He even took care of some additional items that were not previously requested. I would definitively hire him again.

Very amiable, professional and talented. Mr. Phillips takes a customers point of view on his decisions. He shows concern for the customers budget and developed a cost conscious solution that meets, or exceeds (in my case) the customers expectations. They arrived on time, worked continuously and efficiently, finishing the rotten door replacement in a matter of hours, from framing to matching the house paint. Hate to write him such a good review as, selfishly, after seeing his work I now have some other projects I plan to have him do and hope he will have the time as a good, honest and professional contractor can be hard to find.

I found Ron Phillips, of Philips Construction, through a referral service. We needed 2 different pieces of work done - putting in of a railing for the stairs to the upper level of our home, as my husband was due to return from a Convalescent Home, after knee surgery. Ron told me where I could purchase the railings and he installed them very efficiently and attractively. The Physical Therapist from Sutter Hosp. was very impressed. When I mentioned mentioned the need for a shower to be installed as my husband would not be able to get into a tub with his ailing knee, Ron said that he could do that also. Wow! and so he did! letting us know at every turn what he was doing and where the old installment of the Jacuzzi bathtub was faulty. He removed the tub and carried it away and then set about his work: new tiles, 2 hydro jets, shower bench, movable 2nd shower head. He certainly knew what was required, with different coats of this and that, for sealing the tiles. We are very pleased with the results; and happy that he was able to postpone jobs in order to accommodate doing the bathroom. His manner is pleasant, diligent, accommodating. We are pleased. I will recommend him, highly.
