It's a long story. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS COMPANY! Short story is the repair was for my 83 year old mothers house. There was a leak in the "field" of her two story home. I called them to fix that. The "estimator" responded timely, and I met him at her house. As, I did not have a ladder I could not get up on the roof, and he would not let me use his ladder to do so. Viewing from the ground while he took pictures, he identified four more "trouble" spots, that had some dry rot damage. I agreed that the spots needed repair. His quote, that took two hours to prepare, probably due to him seeking football game tickets on his cell phone, was $4,500. He suggested a senior citizen discount, that brought the quote to $4200. My first thought was I should contact a complete roofing contractor and reroof the entire house, as the roof was 15 years old, but he quickly tried to convince me there was life left in this roof. Due to the rainy season, and my mom's house being 30 to 45 minutes away from my house, we opted to accept the repair. Annoyingly, Roof Rx, will not take a check, credit card only, which scared my mom. Also, they demanded a 10 per cent deposit, on the credit card. The estimator, said they required someone at the house the day they started the work, so I agreed to meet him there. Also, he said HE would be there to explain to the crew exactly what would be done. They scheduled with us for a week and a half later to do the work. There was one delay, of 1 day due to rain forecast for the day of the repair. This I understand, but wish they would have called me before I had left to drive her house, to cancel. The next day, I showed up at the agreed start time 8 am, there was no one there, so I called them, and was told they were picking up the materials. They DID NOT SHOW UNTIL 9:30 AM! The estimator was not there either, and he did not contact me again. Their vehicles were not company labeled nor were their employees identified with uniforms or badges. I left when they started, and explained my mother had mobility issues and for them to call me with any issues. That evening my Mom called me in a panic, that they had found something else, and I needed to be there the next morning. This prompted me to load up my ladder and drive over yet again. At least this time I was happy to note, they were there and working at 8 am. I talked to the lead man and he assured me there would be no "extra" charge, but, he did want to tell me about some other issues. This time having my own ladder I went onto the roof, and sadly, realized that due to the condition of the roof, SHOULD have just re-roofed the whole house! We will have to put a complete new roof on within the next five years! Now, the billing issues! The same day, they finished at 7:30 PM, the repairman, called me to say he was done. That night I got a corporate email saying the project was complete and that they would be billing the credit card. The next day I contacted my mom to let her know,
