Roof Service and Repairs

"When we arrived at the Ison residence we sighted obvious problems, screws backing out the of the roofing and flashing and the immediate area of the leak. We made them aware of the issue and quoted price to fix this as all the other screws that were backing out around the remainder of the house. They readily agreed to the price and requested us to complete the work. Before completing the work we made them aware that with roof repairs sometimes the obvious issues may not be the problem and may require a second trip. We completed the work and we were asked how we would like to be paid and being that their bank was local to them and our bank being an hour away we had them write the check directly to us. Two days after completion of the work there was a passing in the family of the tech assigned to their project so another tech was given the responsibility of handling the phone calls. The Isons state that they called but, we were never contacted and as soon as we received the message that they called (which was 4 days after the repair was complete) we responded. Speaking to Mrs Ison, we informed her we'd be glad to come back out and have a second look at the leak, she agreed and we set a time for the day following and one hour later we received notice they gave us a negative review. We called back this time speaking to Mr Ison and he informed us he did not want us to return and actually refused to let us come back and stated he'd rather have someone else complete the job. We are still willing to return and let them know if they change their minds to let us know."
