Roof Smart

At the start of 2022, my house received hail damage to the roof, gutters, and siding. I did my thorough research and saw glowing stars with their credentials, the BBB, and reviews. It was like the perfect company. After getting everything replaced, they left more headaches than relief. There were minor problems which include tons of nails behind, leftover bottles/cans, a pallet, loosened outlet, and hose bib, wired my exterior lights incorrectly, forgot to bring the doorbell wire out, and when they moved my belongings they did not even put them back and it sat on my lawn. Moreover, they damaged the newly replaced roof after repairing my siding, and my roof shingles looked curly on some parts of the roof. Yet, the scariest part was when my 7-year-old family member almost fell off the deck because they did not screw the deck rail back in and on the other side they only had one nail that was not secured in properly. They knew my deck was not properly installed at the beginning of the project and wanted to add that to lessen the situation when we both knew about it. In the end, they ended up fixing most of the problems. This has been the most stressful dilemma with contractors I have ever dealt with and Dave was kind enough to send home inspectors to my house when I asked, and they found overlapped roof shingles. The damaged roof shingles have not been replaced yet, and I am yet to hear back from them about my overlapped shingles. I hope this review catches your eye in your search for a contractor because there Are still people who care for their work. Wish you all the best! By the way, they communicated with me right after I posted my review so I feel like this reply was unwarranted. To correct you, the ENTIRE process was honestly a joke. I told you more than a handful of times about your workers making mistakes. Even after your people came out they still left their mistakes behind and I would have to contact you again about it. Moreover, your employee was incompetent to understand my insurance adjuster and I was the reason why they paid me for the money I deserve. I got a proof buddy. Stop being so cocky. Grant was excellent to work with. Came out right away to quote a gutter project and personally called me after the project completed to make sure we were happy with the install. Would definitely work with them again.

These guys were amazing! We have a 4,000 sq ft. home. They arrived at 8 am and left at 8:30 pm. They finished the entire project in ONE DAY!!!! The yard was completely cleaned up of debris. They handled everything with insurance. Our only out of pocket expense was our deductible. We wouldn't hesitate to hire them again!

My wife and I just recently had a new roof, downspouts, and gutters in stalled by RoofSmart and felt a need to express how impressed we are with their outstanding work! It was a joy to work with Dave Carlson throughout the entire process. He was extremely polite, knowledgeable, professional and very responsive to questions throughout the entire project. His crew did an incredible job on the installs and went above and beyond with meticulous clean-up work. I was especially impressed with the time that Dave spent doing final inspections of the project and any possible clean-up work that might be needed. He even spotted a couple of damaged pieces of siding that needed repair and replaced them with perfectly matched new pieces. The exterior of our 18 year-old home now has the look of a brand new build thanks to Dave and his crew's phenomenal work! To anyone looking to conduct an exterior remodel on their home, I HIGHLY recommend Roofsmart. If there was an option to give them 6 stars, I would have!

RoofSmart was simply fantastic. I called them to replace the roof on our garage on a Monday, they gave us an estimate on Monday afternoon, and then were able to squeeze in the job the very next day. Talk about efficient. The price was totally reasonable and everybody I spoke with was perfectly professional. I would highly, highly recommend using RoofSmart!

We contacted Chad of Roof Smart after seeing a roof he replaced in our neighborhood. He provided us an assessment of our roof and a fair quote to replace it. The work was done in one day including removal of the old roof and repairs to the plywood as necessary. His work crew was professional and we are very happy with the results. We would recommend Chad and Roof Smart to anyone who wants quality work done at a fair price.

we had unseasonably warm weather for February. Chad and his crew showed up a little after 7:00 Wednesday morning. They tore off, replaced several pieces of plywood, reshingled, cleaned up and were gone by 3:30. Work was fantastic and the house looks 100% better. I have no complaints for the roof or the crew. The gutters are another matter. It is now Saturday morning and although we had rain and an inch of snow since Wednesday, The gutter crew has yet to show up. Chad assured my Friday the crew would be here today or tomorrow to complete the project. If the quality of the gutters match the quality of the work on the roof I'll be happy. I would suggest to Chad to invest in a 2nd gutter installer or replace the primary installer. All in all, Chad and RoofSmart is very professional,competitive and fair in his pricing and kept me updated from the estimate, to the installation and to updating me on the gutter installation. I would recommend RoofSmart to do an excellent job making your hoouse look like a million bucks.

Chad was extremely pleasant and easy to work with. His crew was friendly and worked hard. They finished the job in a timely fashion (less than 2 days for a roof with many peaks and valleys and a steep pitch. I appreciated Chad's assistance up front in helping to choose a color. He sent pictures of other roofs he had completed and gave us addresses so we could check the colors out on an actual roof. He stayed in touch from the very start. We are extremely happy with the finished product!
