Before finding Roof Wars: ===================== After several conversations and a few months of going back and forth with the original installer and being told that they are not doing any repairs unless they were doing a complete replacement, I found out the shingles that were used on my original install and was left to handle on my own. It took many calls and conversations till I found a supplier with my particular shingles/color match and so I went and picked up materials based on what I was told I needed by a few of the initial roofing companies that estimated the repairs that were needed. After contacting over 10 different roofing companies in the Cape Coral and Fort Myers, FL areas and getting prices from a few hundred to over $25K, I didn't know who to trust. Most companies didn't want to proceed without a complete replacement of over $25K and several came back with pricing repairs that ranged from several hundred to about $3500 and I would have to wait from 8-12 weeks for the work to be performed (even with my already having purchased all the materials). Didn't know who to trust because I felt like many roofers were trying to take advantage and I felt like maybe you get what you pay for, so I wanted the work done right and didn't want to go the least expensive route either Upon finding Roof Wars: =================== Although I discovered that my repairs did not appear to be major, Brance treated me and my job with complete respect from the very beginning and answered all my questions and had Trevor come out and look at my roof the same day. Trevor is an excellent production manager. Unfortunately, I was not home when they arrived. Trevor determined that it was minor repairs based on initial observations but since I was not home, he didn't go onto the roof and would need to come back when I was there. A few days later, Trevor returned with another worker and they went up on the roof and looked everything over carefully and determined that the job was still as he had originally thought and asked if I wanted them to proceed and I told him ABSOLUTELY (I felt comfortable for the first time). I expected them to schedule my job for some time in the next few weeks as was the case with every other roofer, but they COMPLETED THE WORK THAT SAME DAY.
