Steve and his crew did an awesome job. Arrived on time and stayed late most nights. We couldn't believe it since in was June and very hot outside. They kept the area clean of any scrap. Steve and his guy's were great. John and I were very please with the price and the great job they did. I was out of town when Steve and his crew started the roof and by the time I got back the roof was complete. Steve's crew did 2 house roofs and huge patio roofs on both houses in 4 days. We did upgrade to a better asphalt roof, and John and I are both happy we did. The roof looks amazing. I really can't say enough about Steve and his crew, Steve also helped us with the insurance adjuster, which John and I were not expecting to get anything from the insurance company. The roof on the one of houses was past its life, but the other had been replace, but really didn't hold up. I would recommend Roofing 101. I saw them working on a house in the neighborhood and stop to get the number, and I'm glad I did. I had few quotes for an asphalt roof and a few for a metal roof. Yes, Roofing 101 was a little higher because of the upgrade, but based on the quotes they were a little higher with a better product. Roofing 101 is number 1 for John and I. I had 3 bids. By far Roofing 101 the most professional, and best presentation on what the current status of my roof was and what they would do to replace it. They were not the cheapest, but not the most expensive either. I talked to 3 referrals that day I got the quote and all parties were very happy. I felt secure that this company was going to be there for the long haul. They also had the quickest turn around. Showed up and finished on time. Left my yard clean. 100% satisfied, and I am not easy to please in these days of shady work and poor workmanship.

Steve Mitchem and his crew are amazing! We had our whole roof re-shingled and the flat patio part rolled. Steve went out of his way to get our colors to match the shingles and rolled asphalt. We went with the porcelain shingles that reflect the heat. Steve was always updating us on when the shingles would arrive since he needed to order the special corning reflective shingles from California and they were here in a week. He let us know what day they would be delivered onto the roof which was a Tuesday and also Steve and his crew showed up on time at 8 am on Thursday and stayed until almost dark...the crew swept up any staples and nails that had fallen on to the ground...no mess left. Steve and his crew showed up on time again on Friday and finished the whole job and clean up in 2 days for an 1800 square foot home. Quite impressive in my books with the whole experience we received. The products are great not that black paper underlay that most companies use...the underlay is about half an inch thick with no moisture getting onto the roof boards. We have a 50 year warranty on the corning products. I asked Steve what if your company goes out of business then how do we get to use our warranty and he went into detail and explained everything. I don't see them going out of business because of the professionalism and products they use. We had one shingle pop up 6 weeks later and he sent a crew on Saturday to re-nail and staple. I can't say enough about the politeness, timely, clean up, and let us the customer know every step involved along the way. Our roof is the nicest on our road and with that being said our neighbor went with a different company and went through weeks of waiting to get it completed and still some of their shingles look crooked. I don't know about the other crews and their managers but I highly recommend Steve Mitchem' s and his crew you won't be disappointed. Well deserved 5 stars!

I will hire again next time i need roof tiles replaced. my tiles are discontinued and Steve was able to track some down for me so i didn't have to replace with a different color.

Steve Mitchem & the roofing 101 crew were professional efficient, thorough & tidy. The price was better than the competition & they did what they said. They are 'Rosie on the House' certified & that means a lot to me- consistently the best. The only reason hey did not get 5 stars for quality is that, after completion of the job, Steve Mitchem had to return to rearrange some tiles that the tile layer had not properly aligned- a very small oversight. Excellent customer service. I will definitely get them to bid future roofing jobs that come up- I highly recommend Roofing 101.

Steve Mitchem was perfect for my job. My roofs are about ten years old, they shingle roof needed sealing and the flat roofs need a re-coating. Most roofing companies want an expensive minimum and I found make up bids of things not needed to accomplish that aim. Roofing 101 did what I needed and I could have chosen a less expensive roof coating. The five year guarantee of video'd repairs and resealing is outstanding.

Steve Mitchem was great! He was the only one of the three companies who gave us bids that noticed we had hail damage. He came back when the adjuster arrived and our roof was declared a total loss. Roofing 101 replaced our roof for the insurance payment and the crew was terrific to work with.

Sasha explained to me step by step what she was doing with every step. Was very polite and went to store to get more supplies to finish my job the same day. Showed me pictures before and after the job was done.

The workers were fast & did a great job cleaning up. The new roof looks terrific! Since the dumpster was still in my driveway (and still is), I wasn't aware that the job was done...the workers didn't let me know they were finished. There were communication issues 're scheduling & payment, but they were fairly quickly resolved. Please be aware that you should move your vehicles away from the driveway/garage prior to work being started, since the equipment will be there for the duration of the job. The dumpster will remain on site until at least the next day.
