Roofing Experts of NY, Roofing Specialist of NY, A & B All Season Roofing

It wasn't enough that Cory Nicholas (Roofing Experts of NY) was so incompetent and reckless that he destroyed my family's home and everything in it, leaving us without a home for about a year while I tried to restore it. It's that he also lied about having insurance, which we learned when my insurance company went to collect from his. So they brought him to court (google "insurance vs. Cory Nicholas" for details) but of course he never showed up or acknowledged his lies and guilt. The default judgement shows how reckless he is. No, the kicker is that after he destroyed our home, he still had to finish the roof, so I could rebuild the house. And of course he botched that so badly that it began leaking right away. All he had to do was show up when I called him and honor the warranty, but of course he didn't do that, bc he's not a responsible human -- as documented in the court case you can find online, you'll see the evidence of a deceptive, incompetent, and negligent operator.

The owner, Cory is a very nice guy. He explained everything to me. Answered all my questions. Very prompt. Completed roof in one day. I hope if I have to call him back for some reason, he shows up. I think he will.

The Roofing Experts of NY staff were very professional. The price for our roof repair was reasonable and the service was done in a timely manner. Photos of roof were provided before and after and a thorough explanation of what was being done.

Cory and his staff were responsive and professional. Cory kept me apprised during each step of the job. The cost was reasonable and the work was outstanding. I will would hire them again should the need arise.

Given that I knew nothing about roofs at first everything seemed to be ok. However, there was an original problem involving a leak that was never solved. Since that problem was never solved he said he would come back to fix it. When he returned he said it wasn't the gutter, which he claimed was in good condition and didn't need need to be replaced, instead, he charged me $700 to fix my secondary roof that had no damage to it. He claimed the secondary roof was the cause of the leak and "fixed it". The leak continued, and I called him back to fix it, and he has yet to return to do the job. So I called another person to check where the leak was, and it turned out to be the gutter that Cory claimed that he didn't need to be replaced. While the man was replacing my gutter the man he noticed that several of the roof vents were removed and the area where they should be was covered with roofing. According to the expert, he told me that without the vents water would back up into the single vent left behind and cause my roof to collapse in. When I asked Cory about it he admitted to removing the vent pipes and did not replace them. The expert, fixed it, but while fixing it he noticed another problem. Cory had not put down the roof properly, according to him Cory had set down the roof not using tar as he was supposed to, but instead used a staple gun to hold down the roof, which according to him the roof would likely lift up given that it is not held down properly. Cory and his company have not done a good job, and have left my roof in a much worse position than it was originally. I would never recommend him to anyone, it is quite obvious that any work that he does is likely done in a shoddy manner, and in the quickest way possible to make money.

Cory was extremely involved in the process from beginning to end and His workers were respectful and very efficient. I would certainly refer them to anyone needing work done.

Cory is passionate about his work and it shows in the quality of his product. He was courteous and explained details of the job every step of the way. We encountered a few delays due to inclement weather but Cory was always in communication and worked around my schedule to keep the project moving along. His work crew was focused, professional, and friendly. They also were happy to answer any questions and explain some details as they performed their work. Cory was always available and on site. He always asked for my input and made sure to present any options that would avoid extra expenses. I would certainly recommended Roofing Experts of NY!

Completed work ahead of schedule

Cory was very informative and responsive before, during, and after the project. It was an enormous project and it was well done. Unexpected bumps in the road came up - as does in all projects - and they were handled with fairness. I would recommend this company for quality roof work.
