About us
Gary Curry moved his family from Lansing, MI to Sarasota, FL in 1986 and founded Roofing by Curry soon after. For years Gary was the only employee with a helper every now and again. As the years passed he built a great reputation and created the company's memorable slogan; Why Worry Call Curry! In 1997, when Lakewood Ranch was just starting off, Gary was there installing new roofs and building relationships. As the demand grew for his roofing service Gary began hiring crews to help with the volume. Now in 2018 Roofing by Curry has grown to be the largest residential roofing contractor in Sarasota! Gary is no longer working alone; with him he his son Jesse, his Grandson Jesse Jr. and more than 150 of the best roofers in town. Through all the growth and changes, Roofing by Curry still strives keep the reputation that Gary began over 30 years ago!
