Reviews
Write a ReviewWe had an unethical San Antonio renovation/construction company (AB3) ghost us (after being paid in full) who had unqualified subcontractors install a kitchen hood incorrectly, creating a significant roof leak for weeks. They literally adhered an indoor dryer vent on our roof. After 3 failed attempts to fix it, they disappeared. John bid the project and was the second most affordable of the 4 we pursued. He and staff showed up when they said they would, completed the work as stated, documented the issue, even completed it within days, given the impending weather. Dependable, knowledgeable and solution minded - we recommend them 100%. They restored our faith in professional contractors.
Bob was very professional and knowledgeable about the company and services offered. They did a great job painting my house. The work team was great and cleaned up after the work was done. I would definitely recommend this company to family, friends and neighbors.
I would have to say this was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. We signed the contract in April and work was just completed last week, mid-December. It was a constant battle to get them to do the work and when it was done, it was of poor quality. Again, a constant battle to get them to come out and fix the errors. The concrete slab had to be redone three times due to poor quality, placement of the posts had to be redone because they were not symmetrical, and we had to call them back multiple times to fix leaks in the patio cover. We even had a situation where one of the contractors was yelling at his workers and throwing ladders. We had to ask that this particular guy not come back. In the end, the patio was not delivered to our expectations, the concrete slab has one area with a different color of concrete and because of how they had to fix the concrete we lost height on the patio. This company is one of the higher-priced ones. We went with them because we thought the price would reflect work ethic and quality. We were wrong.
Bob Schmueckle explained the process and the cost of our concrete patio. Mario the contractor did a wonderful job on the patio. It came out beautiful. He made sure that everthing was cleaned up after the work was done. I would definitely recommend this company to family, friends and neighbors. Great job!
Price was fair and the materials were good quality. Bob Schmueckle was great, walked us through the steps to get the best gutters and leaf guard for this project. (We have a lot of live oak trees on our property) He answered all our questions, kept us advised on the start date and checked the completed work. The installers were great, work was excellent and cleaned up after they finished. Would and will recommend this company.
My experience with this company was very good! In fact, I would like to give attaboys to the following individuals: Bob (estimator), Omar (laborer) and John (Supervisor/Team Glue). God bless and thanks.
There was some delay in getting started because they were backed up in orders. But once they got started, they completed the job in one day without cutting any corners. The patio came out beautiful. They did a heck of a job. And just want the say the price was reasonable. I intend on using them again when I have another large project Thanks, Guys.
Spoke with bob and he was extremely helpful. High quality work and done in no time at all!
I wrote a progress review that was less than flattering. The communication issue I spoke of was due to their door provider that supplied a door that leaked (don young) and was not willing to admit they had a defective product. Bob of rooftop went out of his way to have the door removed and a door of our choice installed. This was at their cost given the ineptness of don young. At completion the gutters look great door looks great neither of which leak. The installers were polite knowledgeable and outstanding. May have started with a bump but rooftop went above and beyond to make it right. Would recommend and use again.
The process started well, sales person (Bob) showed up on time was knowledgeable and polite. A price was agreed upon for gutters and a storm door installation, pail half the cost for upfront. Gutter installers didn?t show up on the scheduled day I had to TRY and contact Bob to arrange another date. He is extremely difficult to contact as he wouldn?t return my calls and his voicemail is full. Finally got gutters installed, rained the following day and the gutters leaked at almost every joint. After several more attempts finally got in contact with Bob to inform him of the issue he said they would be repaired. Two weeks so far, no repairs made. Now the storm door has been installed, rained again the door leaks water in at each bottom corner of the glass. Told Bob I wanted the door removed and replaced. Bob asked me to conference call with him and the manufacturer (Charlie) who promptly told me that they are not water proof and will leak. I might as well had a screen door installed with the amount of water that was leaking. The door has since been removed, and Bob is still looking for a replacement, another week and gutter leaks still not fixed. Customer service and communication is greatly lacking. NOT HAPPY AT ALL!
