I hired Dave Ropell to correct sheetrock imperfections in my master bedroom. He did the most horrendous job you could ever imagine. By the time he was finished, my ceiling looked worse than before he started the job. I then had to hire a TRUE professional to come in and bascially rip down everything down that he did, and start from scratch - therefore costing me way more money if it was done the correctly in the first place. Every person that gave me an estimate was not only stunned that he calls himself a General Contractor

"If Marie listened to what I told her before the job was started that the bead board that she wanted on her ceiling was normally used on walls and should not be used in this application. There are other ways that I offered her, but she did not want to listen. This job did not cost her anything being she cancelled the deposit check that she gave me for the material. The balance of the job also was not paid for, so end result she had the job done by someone else. Sorry that she was not happy, I am glad that she finally had the job completed to her liking."

I had him replace a door and put in some molding. At first the door he put in was not right and he had to refix it, but all turned out ok.

The Ropell Brothers demonstrated skills in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting and wall papering in completing the work asked of them. They set schedules to match our schedule. were very prompt and never missed an appointment. Their pricing and payment schedule was very fair.
