It had been 10 years since we moved in and we have not done improvements. My house was tan and white everywhere, it needed refreshing and color. Rose City Paint provided that and more. They throughly patched and primed everything that needed it. They used quality BM paint so it was simple to go pick up swatches and samples to find just what I was looking for. They started the job on time, were there everyday at the same time and worked steadily throughout each room. The team was friendly and easy to communicate with, they vacuumed and cleaned before where needed and after as they progressed. They kept their equipment on the job but contained out of our way. Floors, ceiling fans and furniture that couldn’t be moved out were well covered and recovered as needed. Painting was done well, minimum 2 coats and any bleed through was painted again without complaint. I have a lot of trim, crown molding and fireplace surround as well as bathroom and kitchen cupboards, and it was beautifully done

John called within minutes of getting the painting request. He cane to my house within a couple of days and gave me a very reasonable quote quickly. They showed up on time and did a wonderful job painting the interior of my house. I had 5 total rooms paint and am extremely satisfied with the price and quality. I have already referred them to a neighbor. Highly recommend Rose City Painting!

We asked John Bowman to do a project a little beyond his usual service. He usually just paints, but we asked for a wood stain. It took a bit of testing and experimenting, but we were pleased with the result. He was easy to work with and dependable in scheduling.

They took their time to make sure no detail was over looked. The end product after texturing and painting is fantastic, couldn t be more happier to get rid of the nasty popcorn ceiling!

"the lack of communication was not on my end. i asked if they were going to change colors. They said yes. The walls were a dark tan or beige. she wanted to lighten it up. i said well you cant go too light, because it wont cover in one coat. her Husband wanted to get out as cheap as possible. and who don"t . so she said ok. we will keep it close.i came in the next day and they had bought almost pure white! well obviously that would never cover in one coat. so of course i had to change my bid to two coats. well he threw a fit. all i could suggest is he either pay for two coats,or he would have to buy all new paint. He bought new paint. so you see, there was no lack of communication. as a matter of fact, i always go into high detail and all possibilities. if there was any, it was between him and his wonderful wife. The reason i commented on this review, is because i dont want potential customers thinking i cannot communicate, or be communicated to. heck, that is one of my best qualities."

David did an exceptional job on removing old heavy texture and repairing damage to the walls. John and David also did a great job painting as well. My only complaint was the job took 4 days longer than expected so I had to push back on other projects that needed to be completed in the short time frame I had to get things finished. Otherwise they were awsome to work with and I would hire them again.
